Service Department is terrible, dishonest and incompetent! Every time I take my vehicle in there is an issue. The last time was the straw that broke the camels back. Took my vehicle ther incompetent! Every time I take my vehicle in there is an issue. The last time was the straw that broke the camels back. Took my vehicle there for transmission fluid change and ironically, less than a month later I get all sorts of errors in the information center, the best being " service transmission now, unable to shift soon" Called dealership and they couldn't even advise me if I should continue to drive the vehicle or not. Left vehicle with them and they informed me that the message is being caused by some sort of electrical component associated with the gear shifter that is not covered by the powertrain warranty and will cost be $1,000.00. Vehicle only has 45,000 Miles on it. Once I informed them I paid for an extended bumper to bumper warranty they covered the issue lass the deductible. Part took 4 days to come in and then they left my vehicle sit on the lot for another 4 days before they even decided to install it. The worst part was the service representative (Glenn) told me they were working on it on two different occasions. i know for a fact that was not true because my vehicle didn't move off the lot from where they parked it 4 days earlier. I can deal with a lot of things but dishonesty is not one of them. Needless to say I will not be spending another nickel of my hard earned money at this dealership!!! More

Trey went above and beyond for me as well as the managers and service staff there. Thanks Luc for putting up with me and these issues. Shortly after driving off the lot all of the problems started and they have not stopped. Started with a bad line and bad door lock. Since then the turbo was replaced, the engine was replaced, countless lines have been replaced, and it is leaking antifreeze for the 2nd time in less than 60 days. I am grateful they have paid for all of the repairs. However, it just doesn't stop. Either their "mechanics" don't know how to work or cars or I was sold a piece of s*** car. Either way, just coming out of bankruptcy and trying to get back on my feet this definitely is not helping and it is adding more stress to my life. Not how I wanted my car buying experience to go. The Trax has spent more time in their shop than it has in my driveway. I might have put 3,000 miles on it since I bought it back in May 2024 and here it is January 2025. I don't feel comfortable taking it on long trips with it constantly having issues. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Byers. I can't wait to get out of this loan. More

Terrible service department. Already had codes and tests ran at grismer along with oem parts to attempt to fix an evap code. Was told to take to dealer to get more in depth evalu Already had codes and tests ran at grismer along with oem parts to attempt to fix an evap code. Was told to take to dealer to get more in depth evaluation on where the evap leak is. These guys literally ran the code scanner for $200 and would be another $700 to drop the gas tank for further evaluation. Was also told to replace already replaced parts with gm oem and is probably the reason for the codes.....these parts were ACdelco parts More
