I came in to drop my vehicle off for a works oil change on 10/7. I left my vehicle there and the service advisor called me when it was ready for pick up. While they had my vehicle, I got a flyer on the mai on 10/7. I left my vehicle there and the service advisor called me when it was ready for pick up. While they had my vehicle, I got a flyer on the mail with a coupon that I wanted to use and since I hadn’t paid for my service my intentions were to mention it when I went in to pick it up. When I got there, I pulled it out and handed it to the guy and asked for him to use the coupon to which he said “I’m sorry, I can’t take that because the ticket is already wrote up and it goes through our accounting team”. I responded and said “I’m Not sure why that would matter, you should have the ability to go in and update it. What if you had made an error, you’re telling me I would just be stuck with it?” He said “well no, I can change it, it’s just going to take a few minutes and hold things up”. I said “that’s fine, I don’t mind to wait”. He rolled his eyes like it was a bother for him to do 5 mins worth of paperwork to change it. That is not customer service. I don’t care if you had to go 5 mins out of your way to correct something, that is your job and you do it with a smile or get out of customer service. More
