Gas cap problem I used to drive to and from Macon, 5 days a week for work. It was a long commute. This past May, my engine light came on. I took my car to Butler Toyo I used to drive to and from Macon, 5 days a week for work. It was a long commute. This past May, my engine light came on. I took my car to Butler Toyota. They told me the gas cap was bad and needed replacement. They replaced it with a one year warranty. Then just about a week ago, the same problem occurred. I took my car to my local Toyota dealership. They said the gas cap needed to be replaced but would not cover it under warranty. The local dealership also said there was rust around the opening where the cap seals the prevents the fuel or fumes from seeping and needed replacement. Major bucks. I told them I had the same problem in May and Butler took care of it. The local dealership told me to take my vehicle back to Butler to resolve it. In addition, the local dealership installed a new gas cap without my permission. I told them to take it off and put the one Butler installed in May back on because I was not going to pay for it. I paid for the diagnostic charge but nothing else. My service adviser, Larry, was very nice and helpful. He said if the engine light comes back on, he advised me of other tests that can be run to confirm if the evac(?) part needs to be replaced. I was not happy with my local Toyota dealership but was with Butler Toyota. Thanks Larry and Butler Toyota. I drive a 2004 Toyota Rav 4 with over 305K miles on it. I want to continue driving it for as long as I can. More

Excellent service, always helpful I'm always greeted with a smile. Jerry Turner is honest and I know I will get what I pay for and won't be charged for anything I don't need. This mean I'm always greeted with a smile. Jerry Turner is honest and I know I will get what I pay for and won't be charged for anything I don't need. This means a lot to me. He explains everything that was done to my car and the charges. I feel satisfied I get the best deal possible when I leave it in his capable hands. When I need help with "techy stuff" Brandon Lee is very helpful and patient with all my questions. I'm old school and have a hard time understanding gadgets. He makes sure I understand. I will continue to make the 3 hour trip to Butler Toyota for peace of mind. More
