Dishonest Service Was in the market for a Tacoma and found exactly what I was looking for at Butler Toyota. The dealership had good reviews, so I put my trust in the salesman (big mistake). On Butler’s website, they claimed the truck has new tires. The tires on the Tacoma are not new. In fact, they are almost completely worn out. When I brought this up, salesman David Mullis claimed “we have no control over what CarGurus puts on their description.” Apparently, they don’t have control over their own descriptions either, because it was written on their own window sticker. When shown his own description, he claimed it as a “typo.” Also, the truck was supposed to come with a bed cover, but it was “blown away in a storm,” which I was never informed of prior to my arrival. There was no price adjustment for either the tires being worn, or the missing bed cover. Both of these features contributed to my original desire to purchase this vehicle. Buyer beware, especially if you are coming from a long distance, when you see your car in person you may not be getting all that their website claims that you are, and they do not seem to care about that. At the very least, David Mullis should not be trusted to do the right thing. More
