I scheduled the oil and tire rotation for 8:30AM on April 12th. I dropped my vehicle off the day (around 5PM)before so I would not have to be rushed the morning of the service appointment. Usually when I've dropped my vehicle off in the past in this manner, the service department calls at least 2 hours after my appointment to let me know my vehicle is ready for pickup. This time I did not hear from them by the time I was going to lunch so I called to check. The service department employee stated it's not ready. I asked why not and what is the purpose of scheduling a service time when they do not honor the time. She stated they do the vehicles that have people waiting before they do the vehicles that people drop off. I stated then why do I have to schedule a service appointment if they are going to get to my vehicle whenever they have time. She stated that's just the way they do it. Needless to say, I wasn't happy. She did check with the technician to see how long before they would be able to get to my car and she called back to let me know it would be ready in 1 hour. My problem with this but what if I was counting on having my vehicle back within a couple of hours of my scheduled drop off. Would they give me a vehicle to drive - NO they would not. Would they drive me around to do my errands -NO they would not. I have owned this vehicle for a little over 2 years. I had a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee before this and continued to have issues with the vehicle and the dealership's service department, so I got rid of that vehicle and went with this 2020 Nissan Murano Platinum. I have only used Butler Nissan's service department for all maintenance for this vehicle. I have had issues just like this every time but once and that's because the person who follows up with me after my appointments called to discuss my experience and went out of her way to be sure my next visit was better than any other visit. I don't usually complete surveys but when I'm paying for a service, I expect to be treated just like I owned the dealership instead of like a nobody. One more thing, when the service person went over the items that they completed on my vehicle and then told me the price. I asked why is it so much? She stated you had your oil changed and tires rotated. I stated yes but I was told when I purchased the tires that...at this point she interrupted me and stated you were told you would have your tire rotations for free, right? I said yes and that's correct, isn't it? She said yes. Then it took approximately 10+ minutes and she called another person over to help her straighten out the issue before she could tell me the amount I owed. The guy that came over to help her stated that's not the correct way but SHE'S standing here so you can do it this way this time. I didn't realize that I would have to remind YOUR service department that I purchased the tires from you when I came in for the tire rotation maintenance. More
