Terrible service department and management WORST. DEALERSHIP. EVER. My Certified Pre-Owned vehicle was at Butler's service department several times over a period of 17 months for the SAME prob WORST. DEALERSHIP. EVER. My Certified Pre-Owned vehicle was at Butler's service department several times over a period of 17 months for the SAME problem (code P0705). It was never fixed - despite being kept at the dealership for 61+ days. The code would clear for a short period of time and then the check engine light would come on, it would start downshifting, have trouble going up hills, dash lights dimming, blinkers not working, etc. Once the problem started we never felt comfortable taking the vehicle out on the road. In fact, the vehicle had less than 75,000 miles when I ultimately sold it back to the dealership for much less than what is was worth because the warranty was going to expire in less than a month and the transmission problem was never taken care of. Not to worry though - the dealership quickly put it out on the lot as a "clean car fax" vehicle with an asking price of +$4,000 more than what I sold it for. More

Take your business elsewhere you won’t regret it. And do not purchase anything from them if you don’t live close enough to go there in person when something goes wrong. More

Avoid this Service Center at all Costs... I scheduled my 2 year old Nissan for service here for the last time. The service light came on in my vehicle so when I arrived for my "scheduled diagnostic" appointment, the service intake customer service representative was extremely rude and short with me. So unprofessional... Later, when I retrieved my vehicle and paid $135 for the vehicle diagnostic service, I was told that my service light sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. I was given an approximate $1100 estimate to service and replace the sensor. The very next day, my vehicle would not start. I took my 2 year old Nissan battery to get it checked at Advanced Auto and was told that it was almost dead. I thought that was strange because the day before the Butler Service Center did not advise me of that, even though I had paid $135 for a complete vehicle diagnostic. After I replaced the battery, the service light went off, despite the $1100 estimate Butler Nissan Service Center had advised would fix that problem. To make matters worst, the battery in my key fob started to go bad also. So, ask yourself, if you paid for a vehicle diagnostic at this business wouldn't you expect something for your money??? In the words of "Ernest T. Bass", "fooled me once, shame on you... fooled me twice, shame on me...". Butler Nissan Service Center won't get a second chance to beat me out of a single penny! More

Filled credit app but decided to do cash at finance table. Was told by Mr. Harper to save money in bank for interest. Returned first thing the following day to pay with my checkbook but was told to wait till I received my payment coupons because it was a lot of paperwork to go over. Was told by Mr Solomon who made a $900 miscalculation, who gave me his word on the price.. A few minutes later found out it was the wrong amount. I refused the car and walked out leaving the keys. He further told me that my credit would be messed up and my car was being abandoned. Later spoke to the GM who told me that I was looking to get something for free. Being as hurt as I was by his disrespect I sobbed and sobbed within the entire conversation but he continued to ask if I wanted him to take the car to the back for repossession. How rude!! I found out thAt I forgot my checkbook there within my haste to walk out and they never bothered to contact me. I was looking everywhere for it. They later gave it to my husband when he went for my keys to my new car. The salesman was great though, Mr. Dalton. More

After 4 days my new Nissan Frontier broke down and I had it towed to the nearest dealership, which was Butler Nissan, due to a defective part. Rude, unprofessional and uncaring. The first 8 days of ownership of a brand new truck and 4 of them it was in the service department. No loaner car. No rental car. They did not care how I got home since the truck was towed in, or How I was supposed to get to work. Employees are either poorly trained or just liars. I thought it might be a few bad employees until I spoke with the general manager. After days of trying to reach him and leaving many messages, ( he seems to take days off a lot or leaves really early), I finally got him on the phone. He says, "I don't care if your truck is 4 days old or 4 years old, if you didn't buy it from my dealership, it's not my problem. Loaner cars are for people that bought here." Obviously the poor and uncaring attitude of the employees comes from the top.. I now drive to Childre Nissan in Millegeville just to get my oil changed and I tell everyone to avoid Butler Nissan. More
