Worst buying experience of my life I purchased a "brand new" 2015 Chysler 200. It came with over 1,000 miles. The MSRP was 24,000. I expressed to the salesman that I wanted something th I purchased a "brand new" 2015 Chysler 200. It came with over 1,000 miles. The MSRP was 24,000. I expressed to the salesman that I wanted something that wasn't too expensive and monthly payments within $300-$400 range. Once the vehicle was financed it came to over $28,000 and with my monthly payments of $549 for 72 months, I will end up paying almost $40,000 for a $12,000 car. I wouldn't recommend anyone else shop there. I was desperate for a vehicle at the time and didn't realize how overpriced the Chysler was until after I had it past the return period. This isn't the first time this has happened to a customer and they obviously only care about making money. More

Could not polish headlights because they "invested too much already" Assured that mechanics went through the truck 100% They tell you they do full inspections of their used vehicles. Clearly not. How do you miss cracks? Lies. Not even a week after purchase I went to service all the fluids on my truck and found a part underneath the truck that supports the torsion bars is cracked in multiple places. UNSAFE! And cracked all the way through in some places. Told me they couldn't do anything about it and that it was cracked before. Cracks have rust stains. I know for a fact I didn't crack anything, besides my wallet. ALSO Claimed they would detail the truck before sale and half assed it, all they did was vacuum the truck. MISSED spots on the paint, crumbs in the cracks, wrappers still in between the seats. Just horrible. Don't buy a car from Butler. Last time I go here. My wife was thinking about trading her 2016 Kia Soul for a jeep. Not anymore. More

If you want to drive home happy with what you've have gotten then do not purchase from this dealership. The sales representatives only want to sell you what they want to get rid of. They do not care what car you are looking for. They don't care what your price range is. They will not give you a good deal or even a fair deal. All they care about is how much money they can make off of you and they are looking to make the most money possible. You can't even reason with the managers in sales or accounting because they will only smile when they are bending you over and jump down your throat when you know what they are trying to do to you. They act like spoiled children when they don't get what they want and they will not work with you unless it means they are making a huge profit. Do not buy anything from this dealership. They will always leave with a horrible taste in your mouth and make you feel like you were ripped off. More

This was my first car and the HHCDJ @ NRAM treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Here at Butler CDJ every thing is personal, I even spoke to the mechanics regarding certain problems. I recommend this dealership to anyone who has had a crap time with the Hilton Head CDJ @ NRAM. We went and sold our truck through a private sale because we were going to purchase a car from here as we could afford those payments of $360-$380 When we returned from said sale, we were told they could do nothing better than $445. We wasted a whole day and are now car-less. And the guy who promised us the lower payments wouldn't even face us when we came back, he sent another lady in to do his bidding. WHAT A JOKE More

They would not exchange it an within a week I started having trouble with the heated seats an the radio. Then we find a pair of used women's under ware in the back of the seat. I called the sales manager an the general manager trying to resolve these issues an they act like they don't won't to talk to me an they won't return my messages. This place is a JOKE!!!!!!! More
Mechanics Aren't even educated enough to work at a Jiffy Lub I have nothing against the Butler family. They have provided great service in certain areas of business since I have lived here. What I am disappointed with is the absolute awful service at Butler Chrysler Dodge Jeep, mainly in the service department. I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 2500, with a minor transmission issue. I am a mechanic, I have several ASE Certs, and I had a pretty good idea that the solenoid was sticking or something was wrong with the Front Pump. When I brought it in for service, I explained the symptoms and I told them what I thought it was. Three hours later, I received a phone call from a extremely rude Service Advisor and the only thing she would tell me is that The transmission was shot, and I would need a new one for around $6,200. First off, I knew that this was not correct considering I had been driving this truck for quite some time with these symptoms. I went to go pick up the truck, and on my receipt, the technician put "The transmission is shot because of a leak." Well guess what bud, there is no leak. Nor is the transmission shot. Secondly, how in the world does it take three hours to find a small leak that doesn't even exist? Finally, I also know that it does not cost $6,200 for a new transmission nor does it cost that much to rebuild that transmission. I called a buddy of mine and he immediately told me that this dealership had some pretty awful reviews, were notorious for scamming people, and had poor customer service. So i took my business somewhere else to New River Auto Mall Dodge Chrysler Jeep. And like i Guessed, It was a stuck solenoid. So, I don't know if the technicians are inexperienced, or if they were trying to scam me; but the conclusion is that they misdiagnosed my truck, they tried to scam me, and they were quite rude about it. Also the fact that I am a technician with under two years experience and I was able to diagnose my own truck better than a Chrysler Master Tech is pathetic. Once again, nothing against the Butler Family, but I am quite disappointed with my experience with the Service department and will not be taking any of my personal vehicles there ever again. Oh and one last thing, a sales associate also told my girlfriend that she was not allowed to look at cars on the front lot, and yes this was during normal business hours. More
Sold unnecessary work I own a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited with 10,296 miles on it. I took it in for a service on April 12, 2016 and they put it through what they ca I own a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited with 10,296 miles on it. I took it in for a service on April 12, 2016 and they put it through what they called a 16 point free 5 star inspection. After the inspection I was told that the oil in my differentials had the wrong color with possible grindings and they recommended changing it at a cost of $230. Because we were leaving town and driving approx 2000 miles I was nervous about not having it done. We have owned two jeeps prior to this one and never had this happen on them or any other vehicle we have owned. Deborah Nakamura told me it was possibly grindings from the differential seals and also due to small differential case. After paying my bill I was given a copy of 16 point check up that they had done and noted that this problem required "future" attention not "immediate" attention as I was lead to believe. I am left feeling taken and will never return to this dealership. Has anyone had a similar experience? More
