Dear Sir, I want to start off by saying I apologize for any inconvenience. It is important to note that we appreciate your continued business. 5 cars is certainly a good amount of cars to have purchased from Burns Honda. In my review of this particular situation it appears we were not able to agree on terms for your trade-in value. I understand you researched your Honda Civic on KBB.com and expected a certain value. I also understand we were not able to view your car in person due to the fact that your car was in a service shop away from our Dealership. I do believe however, the evaluation of your car could have been handled much differently. I also respect that customers often research their cars online through sites such as KBB.com for trade values prior to coming into our dealership. The issue with this site in this event is that it is only a guide and unfortunately cannot account for various complications your Civic had. It is difficult to give an accurate Trade value without seeing the car and to justify a bad car fax with an accident and airbag deployment to another customer interested in buying a previously owned vehicle. Also, after further investigation it appears your Civic was in need of a costly repair involving an ECM module. Again, I believe we could have made a better attempt to view your Civic in person. I'll close by saying I appreciate all reviews. Good and bad. The many good reviews we receive further cement our outstanding performance as an Elite Honda Dealership in NJ. The bad allow us to make improvements to eliminate the possibility of this happening again. Thank you for taking the time to write this review and in the future if you decide to give Burns Honda another chance.
