We were going to go to a dealership and look at a couple of used CR-V's for my wife. She only wanted a CR-V and I could not talk her into anything else. Then a friend, Eric C., recommended that we buy ne of used CR-V's for my wife. She only wanted a CR-V and I could not talk her into anything else. First when we liked a civic coupe but mentioned that we wanted a moon roof the salesman quoted a price that didn't sound too bad. Then after we decided to get that one & went inside the price was tripled wanted a moon roof the salesman quoted a price that didn't sound too bad. Then after we decided to get that one & went inside the price was tripled for moon roof. Also there were a lot of dings, dents & scratches that we said we wanted fixed & he said no problem but didn't mention that we would get charged for that. Every other used car we have ever bought, the dings, dents & scratches were fixed at no cost to us. Then most of the scratches were not fixed & when we pointed that out he said they would fix it & they never did. Also when the moon roof was installed they scratched the roof around it a lot. A few months later when I was looking for what the warranty covered (because that was bragged about at the time of the sale) I could only find a new car warranty booklet in the glove compartment. I received a letter saying I was to refer to a used car warranty booklet that I received at the time of the sale if I had any questions. I never received such a booklet. Don Reed contacted us & they fixed all the scratches & did the maintenance due for free so we feel much better about buying the car. We don't feel like we got taken advantage of, they seemed to care enough to fix our problems & make us feel better. More
I bought my last Honda from Burns in 2002 after 245,000 miles it was finally time to upgrade. The new one is great lots of bells and whistles. I have always used their service department, which is how I got to 245,000 miles. I.m shooting for 300,000 with the new Odyssey. I recommend Burnes - Mike Dibiasso in sales and the service department. More
I recently sold my previous vehicle, and was in the market for a new-used vehicle to purchase. I was specifically looking at Honda Accords in the 2009-2011 year range. I previously had some dealings with a different Honda dealership, and felt their service was unsatisfactory. After completing a brief web search via Google, I arrived at the Burns Honda website. While browsing the Burns Honda website, I was prompted to chat with a representative. After doing so, I had passed along my information, and I was contacted one day later by Mr. James Thompson. Mr. Thompson was extremely friendly, and after speaking with him I decided to make the trip to Burns Honda to test drive a few of their vehicles. When we arrived, we met with Mr. Thompson who greeted us in a kind fashion. From the moment we met with Mr. Thompson, it was nothing short of a superb experience. Although our experience with Burns Honda as a whole was already in good standing, it was Mr. Thompson's kind persona and diligence that made this experience spectacular. Any questions that we had were promptly answered in a knowledgeable manner, and any type of negotiation was met with fair reasoning. Mr. Thompson is a blue collar "salt of the earth" type of gentleman, and his down to earth attitude makes you feel comfortable when dealing with the stresses related to making a large purchase. Overall, our experience was so great that I am going to recommend him to any friends or family members that are in the market for a vehicle. With his efforts, he has simply won me over as a lifetime customer, and if you decide to purchase a vehicle here, he will most likely win you over too! More
