Good deal, great car I googled the car I wanted, chose Burns Honda as the dealership I wanted, and got a price quote and a phone call the next day. I got the car I wanted I googled the car I wanted, chose Burns Honda as the dealership I wanted, and got a price quote and a phone call the next day. I got the car I wanted, at a fair price (no pressure and no haggling), with a perks package thrown in. Everyone at the dealership was friendly, professional, and helpful in answering my questions. I particularly appreciated the positive interest and energy of my salesman, Ron Marchsani, he was great! I am looking forward to working with Burns Honda for future service and maintenance of my new 2014 Accord Sedan. More
2014 Honda Accord LX As I began my search for a new car, I was very impressed with all of the great reviews on 2014 Honda Accords. Consumer Reports as well as U.S. News a As I began my search for a new car, I was very impressed with all of the great reviews on 2014 Honda Accords. Consumer Reports as well as U.S. News and World Report, two sources of information that I count on, both rated the Accord very highly amongst mid-size sedans. As I zeroed in on the Honda Accord LX CVT, I reached out to Burns Honda and four other Honda dealerships for quotes. Ed Altman at Burns Honda initially did not provide the best quote, although I thought his quote was very good. Ed's offer was below dealer invoice. (Note: Dealer invoice is approx. what the dealership paid for the car. It is a price considerably below MSRP. This value can be found on edmunds.com). When I presented Ed with a better quote from another dealer, he essentially matched the other offer w/ $400 flex cash. For those of you who don't know, Honda provides dealers w/ flex cash, which sales representatives can use at his/her disposal (pending manager approval presumably) up to $500/customer to help sweeten an offer. Given that Ed's initial quote was already below dealer invoice, once he offered the flex cash, I was very satisfied with the price and ready to make a deal. My goal was to negotiate over the phone/email so that there would be no haggling when I walked on site. (Side note: This is a strategy that I would recommend to anyone in the market for a new or used car.) I came in to see the Accord LX on Saturday, April 12, and it appeared as promised. There were only 5 miles on the car. The Modern Steel Metallic looks really sharp in my opinion. Ed took the time to explain the Accord's many features. We took a quick stroll around the lot (I didn't feel the need to hit the highway to try it out...I bet Ed appreciated that) and I was sold. Ed was very friendly and smooth as a salesman. I did not have auto insurance (I currently receive a car through work), and Ed helped me shop online to find good insurance at a great rate so that I could drive the Accord off the lot that day. I appreciated his patience as I evaluated my insurance options. The only negative part of my experience was the wait between when Ed & I were done and when I met with Nicole McNamee to go over the financing part of the transaction. I don't think the wait was Ed or Nicole's fault...unfortunately for me and fortunately for Burns Honda, likely all of their finance managers were busy with other customers...at least I hope that was the case. I want to say I waited 30-40 minutes. Without the wait, I would have rated Burns Honda 5 stars across the board. Nicole was very friendly as well and took the time to answer my financing questions. Burns offered 1.9% APR for 60 months. While honda.com says the current offer is 0.9% APR for 60 months, my experience was the local Honda dealers were not offering that rate. My experience with Burns Honda was positive. I would recommend Burns Honda to anyone in the market for a new or used car. More
I've been a customer of Burns Honda since 2008. It was pure luck that I was introduced to Ed Altman through your website while I was looking for a car. Ed is not your typical car salesman. He actual was pure luck that I was introduced to Ed Altman through your website while I was looking for a car. Ed is not your typical car salesman. He actually listens to me and knows exactly what I'm looking for, especially when it comes to price. The lease on my 2010 Accord was up in June so I wanted to see Ed to talk about my options. When I walked into the dealership on Saturday, 3/29, I was looking around at the cars in the showroom and noticed the CR-V. I have never driven an SUV before but this one caught my eye because it's not too big. I mentioned it to ED and we went for a test drive. I loved the way it handled & it was so roomy. He couldn't have been more helpful. I leased the 2014 CR-V that day and couldn't be happier. Me! In an SUV! How would have thought? I love this car and I love Ed Altman. I'll be back to see him in 3 years when this lease is up. Thank you, Ed!!! More

Ed showed us the exact car we were interested in and took great pains to explain the many features of the Honda Accord EX. The price we were given was very fair and reasonable. Ed was also able to get us a fair trade in allowance for our old car which we greatly appreciated. Never once during the process did I ever feel pressured in any way. Ed expertly guided us through the purchase process and then he took plenty of time to show us (me) how everything worked in my beautiful new car. Highly recommend this dealership. Our saleman, Ed Altman, was super professional, polite and answered all our questions honestly and thoroughly. Even though we were only buying a little Honda Fit at what was was super professional, polite and answered all our questions honestly and thoroughly. Even though we were only buying a little Honda Fit at what was probably a marginal profit we were given great personal attention, above and beyond, like we were buying a Pilot at MSRP. Whenever I bought a car from a dealership in the past, it always felt pushy, insincere and phony, and it was refreshing to not feel that way during our transaction. I wholeheartedly recommend Burns Honda anyone in the market for a new Honda! More
Burns Honda in Marlton by-far have the nicest staff. From the moment you enter the premises you are greeted and are not bombarded by a sales person pressuring you to make a purchase. Everyone at Burns seem f the moment you enter the premises you are greeted and are not bombarded by a sales person pressuring you to make a purchase. Everyone at Burns seem friendly and ready to help when you are ready. I recently purchased my second Honda. I went from a civic to an accord and sales rep Adam Wjonar did a tremendous job helping me choose a car that best fit my needs and budget. Adam went above and beyond to make sure I was happy by showing me car after car. the test drive with Adam and my family was fun and full of facts about the car. He compared the features the model I was currently driving versus the other models I had in mind to give me the best insight on the car to make it easier when it came to down to choosing THE CAR! After all the test driving and choosing of vehicle, we began the financial portion of the sale. Adam once again went above and beyond to make sure I got the best deal possible and was comfortable with my payments and finances,he truly made me feel like he had my back and not just trying to sell me a car. During our couple of hours at Burns, the staff made sure we had water at all times and that we were comfortable. Adam worked quickly with the help of the business manager Patrick McMahon who also made sure I was comfortable with the financial part of the deal. Patrick made sure I walked out with all the perks Burns had to offer and that it all stayed within my budget. This is my second experience with Burns Honda in Marlton and both visits have met my high expectations of customer service. Even after my purchases at Burns, I feel 100% welcomed and happy with the customer service the sales and service department have displayed to my family and I during our visits. More

If you want to ************** For those of you who don't want to read about my full experience, just know this: GO SEE RON MARCHESANI AT BURNS HONDA. If you want to be treated like a valued customer - a human being - go see Ron. He's honest, responsive, true to his word, knowledgeable, helpful and will be with you every step of the way. My experience with him was completely hassle free; I'm not sugar coating or looking through rose-colored glasses, I'd even go so far as to call it a pleasure. For someone who began this process thinking dealers would try to play games with me or talk down to me as a young professional female, I was surprised my experience with Ron was the opposite - totally on the up and up. ********************************************************************** MY (DETAILED) STORY: I emailed about 10 different dealers in the area asking for quotes for a Honda CRV EX-L without options. Everyone emailed promptly with their quote for the price of the car. Where I began to weed out dealers was when I asked for written out-the-door prices. Some wouldn't email the OTD cost, that they would only provide them over the phone or if I came for a visit. No thanks; I need it documented, so you're off the list. The list of dealers started to dwindle. Ron Marchesani at Burns Honda in Marlton, NJ was the first person to email me back with an OTD price, which put him in my good graces immediately. I wasn't immediately sold on going to Burns because I had to do my due diligence and get estimates from other dealers to find the fairest price. I thought I had found that with another dealer and even went into their facility with the intention to buy my CRV right then and there. Well, they didn't have my vehicle there even though I told them what I was coming in for. They asked if I wanted to test drive the same model as the one I would be getting; I told them No, I wanted to test my actual vehicle. That wasn't happening that night. Then we moved onto the price. They refused to remove options I didn't ask for but which they took it upon themselves to install and tack onto the price. Their sales manager wouldn't budge, saying their price was very aggressive and they couldn't do anything for me. Well, I walked out. He called me a couple days later, saying he wanted the sale but still wouldn't budge on the removal of the options. I felt he was trying to wear me down and he was certainly talking down to me. I was starting to get desperate for a car. My insurance company would be taking away my rental soon. I began emailing more regularly with Ron at Burns Honda. I told him the car I wanted, the color, no options, and the OTD price I wanted. I indicated that if he could make that happen, then the sale would be his. RON MADE IT HAPPEN. He actually undercut my lowest quote. Being a skeptic, I asked him if the OTD price he gave was true out the door and he said yes. I made plans to go see him, even adding a last minute option to the car, which I hadn't planned to do. I took the day off from work and even returned my rental car - I had a good feeling about my visit this time around and I'm one to trust my gut. When I got to the facility, Ron was already by the welcome desk by the front door. He walked my sister and me back to his cubicle (which was tidy and clutter-free - I was paying attention). He took some very basic information and then we set out to test drive the vehicle I wanted to purchase. Before I even arrived for my appt, Ron had the vehicle parked and ready to go within mere steps of the rear entrance to the dealership - talk about prepared. We went for a test drive. He told me about the car features in greater detail than my first test drive a couple weeks earlier at a different dealer. When we got back to the facility, the wheels were in motion. The price we agreed upon was honored. Honda was having a financing special, and b/c I knew I had the credit to qualify for it, I knew that 0.9% for 36 months was my financing choice. No one at Burns, including Ron, tried to confuse me with numbers. There was ONE number - the OTD price. They simply let me know what my monthly payment would be based on that OTD price and my financing, making sure I was comfortable with the monthly figure. While we waited for the finance agent to become available, Ron took care of adding my car to my insurance policy. He even showed me more features of my car, programming my bluetooth for use and adding his cell phone number, which he said to call if I had any questions POST-purchase. Finally it was my turn for the last piece of the puzzle - financing. I thought I'd get a huge sales pitch about extended warranties and other protection plans but nope! Mel, the finance agent, simply asked if I wanted it and when I said no, that was the end of that conversation. He didn't try to upsell me or push anything on me. I read and signed my papers and voila! That was it. I had a new car. Ron walked my sister and me out to my new car, which was all prepped and ready. He shook hands with me with a warm smile and thanked me for my business. I would come to discover he even tossed in a couple extras that he didn't tell me about but did it because he wanted it to be a nice surprise. If you've made it this far in the review and are in the market for a Honda, please do yourself a favor and go see Ron Marchesani at Burns Honda. I don't live close to Burns Honda but I'd go back (to Ron) for another Honda in the future. Ron will treat you with respect and is a genuine guy; no phoniness about him. I'm a very happy customer, love my new car and despite a few hiccups with other dealers earlier, I came away with exactly what I wanted, for a fair price and from a salesperson I can unequivocally recommend to others. From beginning to end, James was extremely knowledgeable, patient, attentive, respectful and responsive to all of my needs. Upon delivery of the car, James continued to extend his excellent customer service by programming the car with my desired settings and showing me hands-on how to use all of the features. Overall he communicated everything very clearly and addressed any concerns I had at all stages of the process via phone, e-mail and even text messages. From a price perspective I know for certain that no other Honda dealership would have given me a better price than Burns since I had called nearly every one in a 25 mile radius to comparison shop. The price agreed with Burns Sales Manager, Frank Sorrentino, was fair, reasonable and by far the best I could find anywhere. A big thank you to both James and Frank for exceptional customer service through every stage of the process. Both are highly recommended! More

I requested quotes from multiple dealerships prior to my purchase of a 2013 Honda Civic. Initially, Burns Honda came back with the highest quote. I wrote to Ed Altman and asked if Burns would be willing to purchase of a 2013 Honda Civic. Initially, Burns Honda came back with the highest quote. I wrote to Ed Altman and asked if Burns would be willing to come down in price compared to some of the other quotes I was offered. Ed asked that I come in for a test drive so that we could discuss. And I'm very glad that I did. Ed was so friendly and made me feel comfortable with my first new car purchase. Ed worked with me and the Burns sales staff to reach a deal that was agreeable with my budget. I love my new car, and I'm so happy that I purchased with Burns Honda. More
