I made this purchase today and Leonard was great to work with. The car was ready and he spent time going over everything with me and answered my questions. I serviced my car there since i bought it and until it ran out of warranty, never any xx. Honest service dept. are hard to come by and this is one of them. More
Typical bait and switch. Called for deal on 2010 VW Passat, and agreed on price with salesperson Pete Capriotti. VW had a promotion for Passat 0%APR for 60 months. Informed by salesperson to apply fo Passat, and agreed on price with salesperson Pete Capriotti. VW had a promotion for Passat 0%APR for 60 months. Informed by salesperson to apply for that promotion via credit app (faxed in credit app, driver's license, and insurance card). Requested Pete to get back to me when app. was approved. Never heard back. I called an hour later to see if credit app. was approved. He said Yes. I asked if it's still 0% APR. He said "Oh because of the great price you are getting, your laon APR is now 1.9%". I thought about it, and said fine. I mentioned it will take me 2 hours to drive down, so please confirm the price and the loan rate of 1.9% APR. He confirmed via phone and email. Drove down with wife and three kids (trip took 2.5 hours). When I arrived, no paperwork was done yet. Pete mentioned that he submitted the information to finance manager. 20 mins. later he came back, and said "I made a mistake, the rate is now 3.5% APR". I said I asked for price and rate confirmation because I did want to drag whole family and drive down for 2.5 hours on a wasted trip. After 15 mins. of discussion, I ended talking to the General Sales Manager (Nick) and explained to him what happened. Then we agreed on 2.64% APR 60 months loan. We shook hand and agreed on new term. Nick disappeared for another 20 minutes to do the paperwork. Then Don, the GM showed up and said he could not do the deal because they would lose money. So my family wasted 6 - 7 hours of our day driving down from Northern NJ to deal with these unscrupulous salespeople after the sales price and rate had been agreed on. More
We made an appointment to test drive a Tiguan and get our trade-in evaluated. The salesperson did a great job with the test drive demo. Even though we had made it very clear we weren't ready to buy that day as we were evaluating different models and deals, we got a high pressure pitch to buy. They wouldn't give us a trade-in value "since we weren't ready to buy." IN 30 years we never have had a dealer refuse to give a trade-in value. We left the dealership without any idea of the trade-in. I followed up with an email to the Sales Manager and never even got a response. We ended up buying the same model we test drove at this dealer and got a better price and a fair trade-in. More
I found a car online on their website and it was listed as a 2011 VW Jetta Sportwagen SE. We agreed on a price. I drove an hour to get there, test drove it and realized it was an S model, not a SE. Basically, they said I would have to pay a few grand more to get the SE and that it was a mistake as being listed as an SE online. I was really pissed. It may have been a mistake, but they should have granted me the SE at the price we agreed to. I hate buying cars. I'd rather go to the dentist and get all my teeth pulled. More

No tricks, extra charges, etc. it was a very pleasant buying experience and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a Volkswagen. They are also an BBB Accredited Business with a A+ rating. More
