Dealership comparisons I visited 2 other dealerships with great dismay before I drove out of state and across the bridge to New Jersey to City Auto Park in Burlington. At Gary Barbera on Roosevelt Blvd, which is 5 minutes from my office, the sales atmosphere is like a circus with aggressive salespeople thinking they are dealing with uneducated consumers. In todays world, the consumer is educated and has likely shopped on line so to insult the consumer with low Trade in Values and High car prices is insulting as we all have access to KBB.COM so we know roughly what are trade in's are worth. At Reedman Jeep in Langhorne, my trade in was valued at $10,000 higher than what I was offered when I drove in and the manager explained that there is a problem with the website as it did not have the option of the Car that I was trading in and the only option it had for a 2013 Jeep Overland was an SRT model which I was forced to select. Reedman sent me the Link to appraise my Cars value and confirmed that this trade in Value was correct until the manager apologized for the Websites error. I then called Liz Petricki at City Auto Park who called me back within a few minutes with a trade in Value very close to KBB.COM and an aggressive price on a 2016 Jeep Overland. I drove far out of my way to see the car she offered and did not regret the trip. The Manager Gus Orsi and the Salesmen Carl, both helped with the pricing and Carl spent an exrodianry amount of time connect my U Connect, downloading the App, connecting my Phone and showing me around the Navigation and settings of the new Car. He was very patient and helpful. I loved my Last 2013 Jeep Overland and I only wanted another one as the car was extremely reliable. Dealerships like Gary Barbera and Reedman are unfortunately a bad storefront on an excellent brand. If not for my experience at City Auto Park, I may have left Chrysler Jeep for another Car but I am glad I made the extra effort to find the dealership in Burlington NJ as they made it easy for me to stay with the Brand that has been good to me. Next time,, I wont waste time on these local dealerships and go to where I was treated with straight forward respect, aggressive pricing and a Helpful and appreciative staff. More
