I traded in my 2013 Jetta for the appropriate amount with what Kelly Blue book was giving no hassle. I would recommend this dealer to others that are looking for a Nissan to buy. Ask for Shanti!! DO NOT Take Your Car Here I took my car in for service on a Friday and was told that they would call me to tell me what needed to be done and give me an estimate. When I didn' I took my car in for service on a Friday and was told that they would call me to tell me what needed to be done and give me an estimate. When I didn't receive any call from them by Saturday I called twice and left my name and number asking them to call me. No one ever called me as a result of those two messages!!! Monday was a holiday so I called Tuesday morning. After a long wait on hold I was told that they would call me back. A person with the title of something like "customer relations" called me and was very solicitous and told me that she would investigate and call me back. (If Burien has to employ someone with that title I knew it was a bad sign. When she didn't call me within a reasonable amount of time I called her back. By this time I was very unhappy and after a while she admitted that at first they couldn't find my paper work and then couldn't find my car. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I am new to the area and from my previous wonderful experience with the Nissan dealership in the state I moved from, I thought I would establish a relationship with a Nissan dealership in Seattle. Believe me I will NEVER deal with Burien Nissan again! More
My first car buying experience I went here for my first car buying experience. Decided on a used 2007 Ford F-150. Was told they would fix the fuel temperature sensor (check engine l I went here for my first car buying experience. Decided on a used 2007 Ford F-150. Was told they would fix the fuel temperature sensor (check engine light was on) and find out why the TPMS light was on, even though they had just supposedly out brand new sensors on when they replaced the tires. I won't bore you with all the details, but after ten days, and having to contact THEM multiple times when they hadn't contacted me by the promised time, I show up to pick up my truck. Guess what? It's still not fixed. They said the problem wasn't the sensors, they just needed to teach the brain to learn the new sensors. Well after I was told I could take my truck, and that it was perfectly safe to drive, and after being told that I could take it to the Ford dealership and have it fixed, and that Nissan would reimburse me, I drove my tuck home. I should mention here that when we test drove the truck and drove it home, it was in the middle of rush hour, so we never got it above 50 mph. So you can imagine my husbands surprise when he took it to the Ford dealership the following morning and discovered that when you get above 50, xxxx truck just about shakes off the road. Nissan didn't bother to balance the tires after putting them on. So he gets to Ford, explains the issue. They balance the tires and check the brakes. Surprise surprise, the brakes are so bad Ford says they aren't safe. Great. Guess we will replace those. Oh and by the way they say, problem isn't with the sensors, it's with the actual brain. Awesome. Not so easy to fix, but we can bring it back Monday and they can work on it. That evening I'm putting down new floor mats and there is a half melted crayon, some spare change, and some paper under the seats of my supposedly freshly cleaned truck. The windows were so dingy my husband had to pull over and buy window cleaner. The cherry on top of all of this? The muffler fell off on his way home from the dealership. Haven't heard from anyone at Nissan since Friday. I seriously doubt I'll hear from anyone here again, and I'm pretty sure I won't be reimbursed for anything they said they would pay for. Should have gotten it in writing, my bad. So my first car buying experience, which should have been exciting and fun, was really just 10 days of getting jerked around and then getting a truck that was not as advertised. I would never do business here again, and I definitely am telling everyone about my experience. More
**BUYERS BEWARE-THEY DO NOT KEEP THEIR PROMISES** READ ENTIRE REVIEW TO SEE HOW BURIEN NISSAN WILL TREAT YOU. *Update from original review* After posting the original review of Burien Nissan READ ENTIRE REVIEW TO SEE HOW BURIEN NISSAN WILL TREAT YOU. *Update from original review* After posting the original review of Burien Nissan they reached out to me to schedule the long overdue repair work. When I dropped the car off, it was a quick process to check my Altima in and get a loaner checked out. When I went to pick my car up after the repairs were complete, I noticed some bad quality work. The bumper was not removed from the car and the rest of the bumper around the crack was not masked off. The car now has a different shade of white overspray over the entire bumper, along with some paint on the headlights and grille. The aux fan and everything near it is now painted white and they put a new crack in the bumper. The license plate holder was still broken in half and was placed back on the car broken, after complaining about it on site it took the repair guy two minutes to replace it. Why would they place a broken holder back on to the car that they agreed to fix especially since it took two minutes to put a new one on? When I showed the bad repairs to the lady in the service department, she got mad and said “We never promise to fix anything, we only promise to make it look better.” They may have made the cracks look better but messed up the rest of the bumper in the process. I left and came back two days later to speak to the sales manager, Jon. I expressed to him that the original damage that the car was brought in for, although not perfect was acceptable as it was a used car and would not be perfect. The only thing I wanted fixed was the paint damage that they caused. He replied saying “Do you see I have glasses on, that's a joke saying that I can’t see anything wrong.” in a patronizing tone. After showing him the new crack in the bumper less than one cm away from where the repair guy was working he replied, “If you would have cracked it yourself it would have been fine, but just because the crack happened on our lot you want us to fix it? We will not be fixing the crack.” Garage keepers liability laws in Washington say they are responsible for “damage to owner’s vehicle and personal property while in the care and/or custody of the service center.” A repair shop has quoted me at $750 to repaint the bumper. They couldn’t believe the lack of quality that Burien Nissan accepted. *ORIGINAL REVIEW* I bought a 2015 Altima a few months ago, that had damage to multiple parts of the car. Part of the contract that we agreed on was to fix all the damage. When I went to pick up the car a few days after I bought it, they did not fix the paint cracks on the front bumper. I was told that the service department was closed for the day but they would call me the following day to schedule the repair. After a few days past I called and spoke to the sales manager about the problems and he assured me he would pass the message to service and have them call me. Nobody did. When I went to pick up the license plates, I spoke to the sales manager again about the unfixed damage, and got the same response that the person in charge of scheduling the repairs was out for the day but she would call me the following day. Again nobody called me. After a few days passed I called and spoke to the GM of the dealership who remembered the damage and would find out what was going on. He never called me back. A week later I went into the dealership to get the appointment scheduled but was to late to speak to the service department. The sales women took a note and said service would call me the following day. Surprising I never got a call from anyone............ The front bumper still has the damage that I was told five times that somebody would contact me about scheduling a fix. Horrible experience. More
