Izzy Vargas really worked with us to get the car we wanted. We had a bad experience where a car from another dealer was sold out from under us, but Izzy did not give up. I wanted a Malibu LTZ in red, and that's what he came up with at a reasonable price. The local dealership in Santa Barbara had no Malibus whatsoever although the salesman said it was their most popular car. I thought that strange. If it had not been for Izzy, who offered us a variety of Malibus, I probably would have wound up buying another brand of car. (My previous car was a Honda Accord.) As a person, Izzy is friendly and straight. He did exactly what he said he would do so there was not the negotiating problem you can run into with some dealers. I would recommend him to anyone and really like the car. More

In other dealers they made a big deal about weather I just wanted a joy ride or was I really there to buy. That to me is customer service. They treated me like if I would have no problem buying the car, which I didn't by they way. This is why I bought my brand new 2012 Camaro SS 2SS from them. I highly recommend this dealer and ask for Izzy he will get you a good deal. More

Very helpful and friendly people from sales to finance to the service department. These folks know how treat you right. I feel that they were honest and up front with us and didn't play games. We are very pleased with our experience. A couple of days after I left this review I received a letter from Adam the finance guy we worked with. He said he had found a better extended warranty for us that gave us an extra 20,000 miles with no extra costs. He sent us the paper work so we could sign them and send them back. He didn't have to do this but this is another example of how Santa Paula Chevrolet goes the extra mile for their customers. They treated me right and continue to do so. More

A follow up from a previous post I had about Santa Paula Chevy. As I had previously stated, I had trouble with my 2005 Tahoe that I purchased from this dealership three years ago. I had remained in contact Chevy. As I had previously stated, I had trouble with my 2005 Tahoe that I purchased from this dealership three years ago. I had remained in contact with finance manager Jaime Torres. I had voiced my concerns about my previous purchase and Jaime had always told me to come in and see him. I have had some credit issues so I knew there was not much he could do to get me out of the Tahoe and into a truck. Well, I went in last weekend to talk to Jaime. He set me up with new car salesman Victor. Victor took me out to the lot and told me to find a truck that I liked. I had my wife and son with me. (My wife would rather go to the dentist than deal with car purchases.) As you would expect, we found a truck that we fell in love with. A 2011 1500 Silverado LT. Victor took us on a test drive and the truck drove awesome. The next step is where we had little faith that we would be able to work something out. They took my Tahoe in to evaluate it and decide how much it was worth to them. In the meantime, Jaime started to work on numbers for the new truck. We were set that we had to keep the same payment as we had with the Tahoe. We stayed in Victor's office while he was working up some numbers. (My wife was assured that we were wasting our time.) After a little time and negotiating, we came up with some numbers that worked. We were blown away. Victor and Jaime worked their tail off to make this work. Like I mentioned, my credit is in the repair stage, so I did not want to get into a payment or interest rate that would kill me. Jaime really worked hard with some banks to get me into a rate and payment that worked. We left on Saturday with the new truck. Since it was a holiday weekend, Jaime had to finalize the numbers on Tuesday when the banks opened. We were thinking, "Okay, great, this will never work and we will have to return the truck during the week because we are going to get the call that the loan was turned down or secured at a higher rate." Well, I got the call yesterday from Jaime. He was able to get me approved from Wells Fargo!! What a great experience compared to my first one. My wife even said when we pay off the truck and it is her turn for a new car she would like to come to Santa Paula Chevy and work with Jaime and Victor. (For her to say that is gold) For a dealership to take care of a customer who had a complaint on a purchase from three years ago shows their commitment to customer servivce. Jaime and Victor stepped out of the box to make sure I was taken care of. More
