New Buick Encore Purchase I was looking for a new small SUV/CUV and looked at the Hyundai Tucson and Ford Escape. I just happened to drive past Anthony Auto Group and decided t I was looking for a new small SUV/CUV and looked at the Hyundai Tucson and Ford Escape. I just happened to drive past Anthony Auto Group and decided to stop to see if they had an equivalent type vehicle. I was very please to find out they had a vehicle which was very similar to what I was looking for. I ended up purchasing a new Buick Encore. This vehicle seemed to be a much better choice over the other two vehicles I had already viewed. Not only was I impressed with the salesman’s knowledge (Tom Isaacson) of the vehicle, but of his demeanor as well. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle, stop by this dealership and ask for Tom. The show room was clean and well lit for viewing of the vehicles. I would certainly recommend this dealership and salesman to anyone. More

One of the nicest car buying experiences I've had I bought a 2014 Town & Country minivan, used, from Anthony Buick GMC. So far, in my 44 years, I've purchased 35 cars, many from dealerships. I found the car buying process at Anthony Buick GMC to be surprisingly straightforward and honest, start to finish, and even in after-sale follow-through. The salesman, Nick Smoot, allowed me to spend time with the vehicle I was interested in, he was low pressure, and the overall process, once I decided to buy, was fairly quick. The negotiation process was straightforward and few games were played. In the end, my van was delivered to me fully detailed - it felt new. Items the dealership promised me were provided in a timely manner without me having to pester them. I don't normally purchase aftermarket items via the dealerships I purchase my vehicles from, but the folks there were nice, the products offered were high quality, and the prices were reasonable. I returned my van for Weather Tech floor mats and window tint. They provided me with a loaner and completed the work in a day. The tint and mats look great. What more can I say? Would I recommend to a friend or family member? Absolutely. I can't say this about many automotive transactions I've had, but the folks at Anthony really came through and knocked it out of the park. Each time has been a hassle and I have felt completely dissatisfied. I have had to come back numerous times for the same issue. I've waited for extended periods of time in the waiting room. I've been lied to by service department staff. I've made appointments online only to come at my scheduled time and be told that there is no record of my appointment. I've arranged childcare for those appointments and then turned away when I get there. I've never been treated so poorly or felt like I was being taken advantage of like at this dealership. More

We did not care for the way we were talked down to by the Manager of the dealership, PJ, or JP, or whatever his name is. We did not care for the way Lance talked to us regarding accessories and to 'Buy something from me' attitude. The car was full of used bandaids, especially after the car was supposedly detailed for interior protection. We were at the dealership for just about 10.75 hours. Although my mother-in-law has purchased multiple vehicles from the Anthony group, this was absolutely appalling. In speaking with Anthony directly, the car was re-done on the inside, and although business is based on referrals and customer loyalty, I unfortunately do not think we will be back. This is unfortunate as there have been at least 10 cars purchased from this dealership in past. We will deal with Anthony directly from now on, and no one else, should we choose to go back to the dealership. For Service, we will only deal with Tony Wojciechowski, as he has taken very good care of us. There needs to be some serious repair done here. Yes, the inside of the car was redone, but there needs to be more, much, much more. Personally, I have purchased my vehicles from Ray Scarpelli (Ray Chevrolet) in Fox Lake, dealt with him personally, and have been taken care of EXTREMELY well. I've never had a problem there. More

never agin So this is by far the worst experience that I have ever had with a dealership. First I brought my car to anthony to get my fuel line fixed which was $ So this is by far the worst experience that I have ever had with a dealership. First I brought my car to anthony to get my fuel line fixed which was $900 which I had no problem paying. When I went to pick my car up they lost my keys to my car. You know if they would of made me a new key that night I would of been fine than but no they said my battery died after waiting an hour and a half and gave me a rental car and told me to bring it back with a full tank of gas. Ridiculous! Than I had appointments all day Saturday and was supposed to get my car after and they called and said NOPE can't have it still because the new key doesn't work with your computer so we have to order one? Doesn't make sense because if I wanted a random spare key you would have to get a new computer and start over?? Doesn't make sense at all. So than I want to speak to the manager and I find out researching online that 'tony' is only a service advisor...who I did talk to and he asked if I had a rental because my car wouldn't be done till Tuesday now, I said yes but didn't think I should put gas in it because of the situation his response was that the courtesy would be since I burned the gas I should fill it and that I should let my conscience tell me what to do.. Really is this how you treat people, I would of let it go with something as simple as I'm sorry bring it back with what it has left but not what he said. So I tried asking for the facility manager and I get sent to a voicemail to the manager for Internet sales who never called me back either. Oh and the key fob that I got doesn't even have my remote start either. I'm so furious with how I am treated and plan to tell everyone I know about this because it's ridiculous. I will say that the one person who actually seemed like he cared was the car porter who was trying to help me find my keys.. I just can't believe this because not only did I buy my car there but have family who has also. Not no more, I have no clue who is running this place but they need to figure it out. More

He a good choice to help you get into the car you want. Nick S. is another person I like to see also. He is a walking information booth. Also knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and patient. Actually i have no complaints. If you are looking for a GMC that is where I suggest you go. I am sure they will find a way to help you if it is within there means. ask for either and tell them Vicki Sent you. Happy hunting!!!! More
