I contacted Bud Baer GMC in early June about a vehicle on their website which was not available. I was instead referred to one that was on order. Due to the difficulties of finding new vehicle inventory, I preliminarily worked out a deal on this vehicle that was ordered but not manufactured yet. To be sure that the vehicle was in my price range I was emailed a quote of the vehicle price and my trade in and calculated my payment. All checked out so I put a deposit down, to lock in the vehicle. After 2 months the vehicle arrived and I went to go pick it up and finalize the deal. This is where all the numbers changed from what I had in previous emails, they lowered my trade by $5,000, and it was not due to vehicle condition or miles. They said it was due to an error. They also increased the price of the new vehicle by ~$1,500 from what I was originally quoted. No reason given. The final issue was on the payment, which was much higher than what I was calculating. I am an accountant so I know about financing and leases and they could not tell me why their payment was so much different from what I was calculating. I knew it had to be the rate factor on the lease but they would not disclose what rate factor they were using. This was all without even running my credit, which I asked them to do to see if I could possibly get a lower rate factor. After a few discussions and getting nowhere, I told them that with all of this I could not move forward with the deal. This was very discouraging after waiting two months on the vehicle. Just a few minutes after this conversation I sent them a screen shot of my payment calculation and asked them to show me what was different between my calc and theirs and I was told the vehicle was already sold. I was told there were several people in line behind me for this vehicle. Which I think is the real reason they did not stand behind their original quote. More
Needed a new battery, and I wanted to make sure nothing was draining my battery, so took my vehicle to the dealership. I new it would be expensive since I am going to a dealers service department. The service manager (Roy) called me while I was driving and told me nothing was draining my battery and all I needed was a new battery. the diagnostic and the battery would be $276 and needed approval to install the battery. I thought that was very high, but since they had my truck already, I said to go ahead and install it. I went to pick up the truck and the invoice said $453. I said that is not what you quoted me on the phone. Roy said there is a $150 to pull the truck into the bay + tax. $453 to change out a battery is robbery. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You took advantage of me and a successful business like Bud Baer should know better. More

We have taken our car two times for this and both times were VERY disappointed with service performed. Car was not cleaned inside first time and we rescheduled. Car was cleaned outside again (NOT GOOD) and again not cleaned inside. * months later we took car again for auto butler and job was very poorly done. Dirt left inside and outside bugs on windshield and grill were not touched. Rooting of tires was supposed to be free and they wanted to charge us. My wife refused and they consented but service agent took pictures of outside and was supposed to get back in touch with us. It has been 3 weeks and NO response from anyone. Auto butler program has not been performed as we were told. We payed for it and have not been given our money worth service. More

I have one complaint that has nothing to do with today’s service, I cannot understand why you never fixed the nitrogen air machine. Nitrogen is fantastic. I went four years without having any tire pressure problems and than I find last summer having pressure problems and I find out that your nitrogen pump has been down for about a year and you have been putting air in my tires, even though there are green stem caps on the tires. I was upset to say the least. This was in October last year and I immediately went to a local tire service and had the air replaced with nitrogen. 35 lbs was put in the tires and 4 months later there is still 35 lbs in the tires. now please don’t insult me and tell me that nitrogen doesn’t work. Now I have told your service personal that they are never to touch my tires unless you have nitrogen and I will buy my tires where I can get nitrogen. More
