The sales person and sales manager were terrible. They were pushy and dishonest. The worst I have encountered. I will simply never do business with this company ever. They were pushy and dishonest. The worst I have encountered. I will simply never do business with this company ever. More
Worst service experience. The Service Advisor was clearly overwhelmed. Reasonable requests for updates were ignored or the responses were ambiguous and meaningless. Contact The Service Advisor was clearly overwhelmed. Reasonable requests for updates were ignored or the responses were ambiguous and meaningless. Contact with Service Manage resulted in an unreasoned defense of their process. Mr. Merryman sent me a detailed email to justify the poor service, it was full of inaccuracies and falsehoods. My last visit to Bud Clary Service, barring a catastrophic failure. More
Steve Poulson is NOT a service writer I’d ever recommend. I brought my truck in for a blown differential under warranty. I was told parts would take 1-2 days and my truck would be done by the following Monda I brought my truck in for a blown differential under warranty. I was told parts would take 1-2 days and my truck would be done by the following Monday or Tuesday, Wednesday by latest. It’s been a week since I brought my truck in. It took two days for warranty to authorize the repairs. Yet today my truck is still sitting untouched. They would NOT provide me with a loaner vehicle. And did NOT help with setting me up with one thru an outside source. I had to go get one on my own and pay the additional $25 per day outside what warranty covers. And they will only cover for eight days. I’m at day six and beyond the eighth day, I will be left to pay the full rental vehicle price. Steve called me essentially a liar when I parroted back what HE told me about when the parts and work would be done. I am waiting to speak to the General Manager of this Dealership. I am beyond livid. Sorry isn’t going to cut it. Not when you have NO problem taking my work and leaving me hanging with ZERO follow thru. It’s like thanks for the work, but we don’t give a xxxx about customer service. PS: So far the store general manager is trying to excuse away the situation and not make anything right. And from reading responses from the “Owner”, they apparently do not care truly about YOU. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP PSS: July 14,2021: They called to tell me my vehicle is done, but now their employee damaged my vehicle. They are responsible now to give me a rental! I’m down. DONE with this Dealership. Shame on Bryce Clary and this Dealership incompetence!! How much longer am I without my vehicle? PSS: Juy 26, 2021: Picked up my truck to find several ussiues with the body work, via an auto appraiser. The Owner and GM, Martin Southwick, are going to rectify the shoddy bodywork. PSSS: July 30, 2021: Went back AGAIN to STILL find issues with the bodywork! PSSSS: Aug 2, 2021: I finally got the truck and I am waiting for Martin Southwick, the GM, to tell me what they want to offer me for diminished value: PSSSSS: Aug 11, 2021: I received an email from Martin, and it was a slap in the face. They want to offer me $165 using some garbage method, for diminished value. THEY damaged my truck! I gave THEM the opportunity to fix it and they couldn't even do it right the first time, let alone the secone?!?! I sent Martin a response demanding $2800 as what a local Appraiser told me I am entitled to, or I will just take them to court. And all the time I have wasted going back and forth pointing out their lack of quality. They do NOT care about YOU!! More
We wanted a very specific truck model, and color. Brian made sure that it was ready for us once delivered. Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase. made sure that it was ready for us once delivered. Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase. More
I just bought a vehicle from Bud Clary and the service provided by Brian and Josh was great! In a time where the vehicle buying process is tough, they made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The place has changed alot in the past five years. I liked the way Clarys used to operate, not very happy with how things run now. The service dept is hard to schedule. Seems that Clarys has gone big liked the way Clarys used to operate, not very happy with how things run now. The service dept is hard to schedule. I have never written a bad review before and like to give the benefit of the doubt before passing judgment. I’m sitting in the waiting room of the service department as I write this. I didn’t buy my car here the benefit of the doubt before passing judgment. I’m sitting in the waiting room of the service department as I write this. I didn’t buy my car here but have come here for service 3 times. All 3 times were awful. The first time I came, I had made an appointment and told them I was going to wait. They said the key would cost about $280. I only wanted them to see what was wrong with my passenger door and get a new key programmed. When I got here, they told me it would be AT LEAST 3-4 hours. To look at a door and program a key? Not even fix the door. Just see what was wrong with it. When I left that day, my door hadn’t been fixed and they hadn’t been able to program my key. I was upset about the wait but understood that they needed to order parts for the door and were having technical issues with the key. The second visit, they did fix my door but still couldn’t get a key programmed. Today, I get here and they didn’t want to give me a price before doing the work. I told them I wanted to know before they did the work. She said it would be $135 for labor. I insisted on getting a total price. She came back and said $365. I expressed my frustration at the difference between what I was told over the phone and what the actual cost would be. No apology. Just a look of annoyance from the rep. When I asked if there were any other dealers, she said the closest one was in Portland. I told her I just wanted the key made and would wait. When I came inside, I looked online a saw there are 3 Chevy dealers that are much closer than Portland. This business is dishonest and doesn’t care about their customers. They lie and don’t apologize for it. I understand that sometimes there are miscommunications and/or technical difficulties. And that parts sometimes need to be ordered. But I don’t appreciate being lied to. And it adds insult to injury when they won’t even try to apologize or make it right. Save yourself the maddening frustration and go somewhere else. After today, I will find another dealer to have my service done. If that means driving an hour and a half to get there, so be it. More
