The first time I visited Auburn VW after Bud Clary took over, they tried to sell me a package of 3 oil changes. My car gets an oil change once a year. Seemed like asking a customer for a loan to me. The over, they tried to sell me a package of 3 oil changes. My car gets an oil change once a year. Seemed like asking a customer for a loan to me. The last time I visited was within the last 1-2 weeks. They didn't fill up my oil all the way. My oil light came on for the first time ever, 2 days ago when I left for a road trip to Pullman, WA. I had to stop in Bellevue to check the oil. There was literally NONE on the dipstick. A AAA worker verified, because I couldnt believe it. I went to O'Reilly, 2 blocks away. They ended up filling my car with TWO quarts of oil. I paid $146 dollars for a 40k mile check up, with less than 20k miles on my 2019 vw gti, just so I could pay $62 more dollars for 4 quarts of oil. I have 2 left, just in case. Looking at other vw dealers for next time, because my car deserves better workmanship. More
The dealership was easily accessible and someone was available to help me as soon as I walked in to the service department. My service advisor Jason was friendly but not very informative and I didn’t re available to help me as soon as I walked in to the service department. My service advisor Jason was friendly but not very informative and I didn’t really feel like he knew much about which services were performed on the vehicle. I have limited knowledge on cars so I was expecting maybe a run down of what was performed and how the car looked as I’ve had at other dealers but it just felt a bit short. More
Nice waiting room. Easy to make appt. by calling. Going online is always messed up when trying to make an appt. Mechanics should be respectful and arrange seat back to Easy to make appt. by calling. My service writer was thorough friendly and extremely helpful. While waiting talked to a few salesman and they were pleasant as well. Also had a chance to chat with Dan G. Which is always great. As long as I have been dealing with this dealership for service and maintenance it really sucks that you all take advantage of your customers the way you do. I came in intending on getting my oil changed a service and maintenance it really sucks that you all take advantage of your customers the way you do. I came in intending on getting my oil changed and wanted to look at a set of brakes for my front tires. I was quoted $850 for the “average” price by a gentleman by the name of Bailey and despite just wanting to get the little things I already had planned taken care of I had a million other things brought to me that were extremely overwhelming. When it was all said and done I was charged right at about $3000 for services that I don’t even know about. It truly sucks because I immediately had a FRIEND that cared tell me I could’ve gone to several other facilities to buy brakes for less than 50 bucks and he would’ve installed them for free. I can easily say I will not be returning. More
The first 2 days after I brought my car in, no word on any progress. By the 3rd day I went in to pick up my car. The manager intervened and made the day better. any progress. By the 3rd day I went in to pick up my car. The manager intervened and made the day better. More
