Overall pleasant experience I arrived 2 hours late for my appointment with Myke Heckelsberg, and to my surprise he brushed aside my apologies and was eager and willing to stay an I arrived 2 hours late for my appointment with Myke Heckelsberg, and to my surprise he brushed aside my apologies and was eager and willing to stay and work late (I believe it was 11:00 pm) so that I can drive home the vehicle I went there to purchase. I've purchased several vehicles to date and I must say, this will be the most memorable. I would like to briefly explain how I came to purchase a vehicle from Tom Matson Hyundai because I live 77 miles away and would not have purchased my vehicle there, except for the price. I thought I would call 3 dealerships and get them to give me an out-the-door price on a 2015 Veloster, and they would have to be be competitively priced since I was going to buy from the one with the lowest price. I really wanted to purchase the vehicle in Olympia, because it's the closest to my house and I test drove a Veloster there a few days earlier. But upon telling them that I also requested a quote from AUBURN HYUNDAI, along with a HYUNDAI dealer from Seattle they bowed out. That left Tom Matson and the Seattle dealership competing for my business. When both quotes came in my choice was clear, and needless to say, I purchased the vehicle from Tom Matson. The Seattle Dealership claimed to only have a "slightly used one" with 10,000 miles for which they were asking approximately $2000.00 more than the brand new one I bought from Myke Heckelsberg, the salesman from Tom Matson of Auburn... and yes, Myke with a "Y". Thanks Myke, Olympia bowed-out, probably knowing they couldn't compete price wise, and you guys creamed Seattle. So in closing I'd have to say the slogan stands, BEST PRICE, QUALITY SERVICE! More
A very good experience! I already knew what I wanted and for the most part the color, so it was a matter of locating it. This dealership did not have what I was looking for, but in no time had located one and had it delivered, however it was late that night and we wouldn't be able to get back until the following Sat. We picked it up early Sat, it had been raining, but they had it in the garage nice and dry and ready for pick up and also to go over all the extra's which there should actually be a class on, so many things to learn. One thing that I think should become part of the accessories is not only a back up camera, but also a front one so as not to run a fender up on a high curb. I have not done that, but now that I have been enjoying the backup camera, I keep thinking of how nice it would be to have a way of seeing how close one is to a curb in front of the vehicle. Just a thought. I would come back, very nice people. More
