Horrible experience. Both myself and my family have bought several vehicles from this dealership and their customer service has definitely gone way downhill. The salesman never even tried to sell us the car.. just handed us the keys and told us not to be gone long. We were buying a brand new vehicle and someone actually telling us about the features of the car would have been appreciated. Our sales person would be in mid conversation and leave us to talk to other people.They gave us the run around the entire time. We had a good several thousand dollar down payment and they continued to nickle and dime and trying to get us to put more and more down. In research I found they were charging us more for a base model SUV that you could find at other local lots with the "limited" options. Because we went in on a Sunday they told us to put a check down to hold the vehicle and they would get back to us the next day with the bank approval.. We ended up calling them at the end of the business day to tell them we were coming to get our check and no longer willing to do business with them anymore. I will not be returning to this dealership. More
Brought my Jeep Cherokee in for an oil change and serpentine belt replacement. They did the job but "forgot" to put the oil filler cap back on. I complained in person and in writing but got no response other than a verbal "sorry about that" [read: "oops"] If I want this level of service I don't need to pay dealership prices to find it. I won't be going back to Matson Dodge anytime soon. More
Mu husband and I drove 45 minutes to test drive a Trailblazer SS on Tom Matsons lot from an ad we saw on craigslist. By first impression alone, we should have just walked out. The salesman helping us was a complete slob, his stomach was too big for him to tuck is shirt in, and the used lot was a dump. The salesman had no idea how much the car was, we had to show him his own craigslist ad. Once we decided we liked the car we went to the main lot to talk price. They were unwilling to negotiate since the car had been sitting on there lot for a couple months, and when we started to try to talk to him about bringing the price down or giving us more for our trade in to make up, he ran out of the room and got his manager, who proceeded to yell at us for " beating up his salesman" then kicked us out. They were unwilling to help make the sale and we were the only people in there! I do not recommend this dealer and will tell everyone I know! More
I took my Wrangler into this shop for its service after they took over the Jeep franchise from Robert's Jeep in Auburn. I picked up my vehicle at the end of the day, and my driver's side window had a 6" cut in it. At first, they denied they had anything to do with it. Then I ran into a gentleman who used to be a supervisor at Robert's. He told me one of their techs did it. I talked with Tom Matson Jr. and Bob Jones, who is the service manager. They did not want to do anything to help me, but finally asked me to come in. Bob took a look at the window to make sure they ordered a correct replacement and told me they would take care of it. After two weeks of me making phone calls to see when I would get this, they tell me today they will only pay 1/2 the cost. Their lube tech cuts my window and they want me to pay half! Do not use this dealership! Oh, and I forgot to say, they ended up charging me over $100 for an oil change! I will also be making a report to the Better Business Bureaus. More
Went looking at used mini vans and they told us first they would match any price, could not come close, tried to switch us to a different van (bait and switch?), then they said that they had the best int they would match any price, could not come close, tried to switch us to a different van (bait and switch?), then they said that they had the best interest rates, we said we could grt 5.9 at our credit union (we have perfect credit) they could not come close and would not budge on price or interest rates. Poor experience, they wasted a half of a day with their games, bringing oout the account manager, etc. I will never go back. More
