Pleasant Experiance Most car buying experiences in the past 20 years have been an ugly chore. Mostly leaving the dealership feeling bad about the deal or the treatment Most car buying experiences in the past 20 years have been an ugly chore. Mostly leaving the dealership feeling bad about the deal or the treatment by the employees. When one buys a new car you should walk away feeling good without any ugliness coloring how you feel. It should be a happy thing. Not everyday you get a new car. You should walk out feeling good about it. The last four vehicles that I have bought from the sales rep. Daniel Schneider have been very pleasant affairs. I have walked away happy with my deal and happy about how I was treated. Couldn't be happier on how I was treated. No high pressure sales, some very good help in guiding me into what I really wanted. It was all good.. More

Don"t buy a car here. We recently bought a new Cherokee here from Tony. The initial experience was how I expected as you can do most of the research online so when you go in, you tell them what you are willing to pay and nothing more. They were on the same page, and it was the end of the year and we got all the rebates and a great deal on a fully loaded model. However, they kept trying to push the sunroof model on us. My wife wanted it but when she saw how it looked, it was not what she expected. The next vehicle closest to us was in Oregon, 400 plus miles away. We agreed to have it brought here and he told us it would only take 48 hours. One excuse after another, they kept moving the delivery time. If they would have told us a week, we would have been fine with that but no, we were told that the couple was older, 65 and they drove slow, oh and then, there was ice on the roads, oh and then they could not leave on time because of this and that or the other thing. It took a week to bring the vehicle to the lot. In the mean time, I looked at the lot we were getting it from. This one had silver aluminum wheels and not the black that we had seen on every other Trailhawk. I called the salesman and told him what I saw and he told me, "no problem, when it gets here, we can swap those out for you if that is what you want". We finally got a phone call that said it was here and we could pick it up the next day. They were closed but we decided to drive down that night and check it out. It had the silver wheels like I saw in the photo even though he had told us they may have posted a picture of another model and it may have not had the same options on it as what we requested. What BS. There were only a few models with what we wanted in four states and he was lying to us once again. We went down the next day and I asked about the wheels, his response, they used to do this but I guess they will not swap them anymore. I was done talking to him so I asked for the sales manager. He told me they could not swap them as they were listed as part of the package on the other vehicle they had on their lot and could not swap them per the invoice. I let him know that I never saw black aluminum wheels on any of the invoices we had on any of the vehicles we looked at. He told us we don't have the same list as them, more BS. We had an itemized list of everything of the vehicle in his lot and all it said was aluminum wheels. The only place we saw the difference was when we went online to order it with all the options we wanted. No other Trailhawk had the silver wheels except the one we received. They look ok, but were not what we wanted. I quit talking with the salesman and started dealing with the sales manager, telling him how unhappy we were at how long it took to get it here. He was giving me the same excuses as the salesman and I told him, "if you would have told me, hey we are sorry, it is going to take about a week to get it here, we are having some trouble with transport", it would have been fine. I then let him know if you would have said, "I am sorry, can we offer you and your wife a 50.00 gift card for dinner for your inconvenience", I would have forgot about the whole thing. All I wanted was an apology for what was going on and how long it took, vs what they told us it would take. He told me, "well we are apologizing now". I then told him, yeah after I asked for it. Their finance department also leaves something to be desired as he seems to think that everyone does this all day long like he does. Very rude, and also like you are not as good as him. We put 12,000.00 down but that did not seem to matter as we felt like we were not good enough to even be in there buying a new vehicle. DO NOT BUY HERE........ More
Heartbreaking In July I took my son's new car with 3000 miles on it into the service department because it smelt so bad like antifreeze that your eye and nose would In July I took my son's new car with 3000 miles on it into the service department because it smelt so bad like antifreeze that your eye and nose would burn. They looked at it and told us that sometimes new cars smell like that and there was nothing wrong. My husband refused that answer and asked that a different tech look at it. The new tech, within minutes knew the heater core was bad. After them having the car for 2 weeks we got it back and it was absolutely destroyed. They disassembled the car with a screwdriver leaving gouges everywhere. The hood and both doors scratched, there was a dent in the passenger door, the heated seats were wired up backwards and none of the dome lights or overhead lighting worked. To repair the damage they caused, they had to replace numerous interior panel pieces, fix and repaint the door, repaint the rocker panels and door jams and buff the whole car due to scratches. After several phone calls and time off work with trips down they finally had everything finished at the end of November. The kicker to this story is the car still smelt like antifreeze (not as bad as the first time) and when I said something about it, the shop Forman and service director told me that sometimes new cars just smell like that. Well I'm not a complete idiot so I have since taken my sons car to a different dodge dealer to have the heater core looked at. Not to my surprise the heater core had failed again! They said it had failed again because the tech at Bud Clary obviously damaged the heater core casing trying to beat it into the place. It's now January 11th and I think we finally have everything fixed and I'm hoping I can start the new year off not dealing with this car anymore! More

I came by the next day and was approached by Calvin Duncan in sales. I informed him that I had stopped by the day before and was ignored. Calvin apologised and assured me that he would not be that guy and that he would go above and beyond to satisfy the customers needs. Needless to say I had an a great experience with Purchasing a new Renegade. Calvin in Sales was very polite, approachable and went above and beyond for me. More

On Tuesday, after more than 30 minutes of being on hold (with obnoxious music), numerous transfers, and an idiotic comment by a service technician of "you should get that looked at" (duh, that's why I called), they finally scheduled an appointment at 11:00 AM today for diagnostics. When we get there for the appointment they told us they had to cancel the appointment. Did they call us to cancel? No, we drove all the way to Aurburn. Their excuse? The parts truck came in and they had to fix cars that had been waiting. Do they care that the AWD isn't working and I have to drive over the pass tomorrow? NO! Will I get a call back from the service manager that I requested? Highly unlikely (just like the last time!) What good is a warranty when you can't get any service? Worst place ever!! More

Worst Experience Ever!!! Let me tell you about my car buying experience... After 20 years of buying new cars, I discovered the hard way, that Bud Clary Jeep/Dodge/Ram of Aubur Let me tell you about my car buying experience... After 20 years of buying new cars, I discovered the hard way, that Bud Clary Jeep/Dodge/Ram of Auburn was the ABSOLUTE WORST that I have EVER had to deal with. I purchased my Jeep on a Saturday Aug 19th. I later noticed that the steering wheel was not aligned properly. I brought it back the next day to have a service person drive it and he agreed with my assessment. I scheduled another appointment to fix the steering wheel and when I went to pick it up, my salesman said that they didn't find a problem with it. I insisted that he drive it and he agreed with my assessment, as well. Also, while driving I went to use my windshield wipers at only 432 miles, on a new car, and I got an alarm that said, "Washer Fluid Low." This basically told me that the PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) was NOT performed. I talked (and sent texts) to my salesman numerous times and told him that I wanted proof (photocopy or receipt) that a PDI was completed on my car. My seasoned salesman sent me a text asking, "What exactly do u mean by PDI report?" Seriously, he didn't know what a PDI was?!?! This should be the very FIRST thing done when the car arrives to the dealership. I scheduled a 3rd appointment to address the steering wheel problem and for them to perform a PDI. I was sent a text by my salesman that my car wouldn't be ready until the next day. I called him immediately and he told me that, "Their service department tried to fix the steering wheel, but were unable to and that they had to send it "somewhere else" to fix it." Hopefully they sent my new car to a reputable and Jeep authorized business. I received a call from him later that night telling me, "Good news, your car is all done and ready to be picked up!" When I got to the dealership my salesman informed me that they, "Didn't perform the PDI." I told him that I was "Not coming back again." That would've meant a 4th visit back to address something that should've been completed before I had possession of my car. On a side note, the inside of the car was not cleaned at all. The inside of the windows were filthy. You'd think that when purchasing a $43,000 car, that the dealership would AT LEAST have the car in showroom condition. And after 3 visits, the car was still not completely cleaned. And I even had to peel off some of the stickers on the inside. The good news is, that I took my Jeep to another dealer and they performed the PDI for me, for free. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy or bring my car to Bud Clary EVER again. And I will definitely let others know about my experience. More
