Terrible Customer Service I arrived where one gentleman sat at his desk and said nothing to me. Another male customer came in and was greeted immediately and asked how he coul I arrived where one gentleman sat at his desk and said nothing to me. Another male customer came in and was greeted immediately and asked how he could be helped and if he would like the customary car wash to which he replied sure. I then was by myself again. Another employee arrived and asked if I needed help. I said yes. I asked about a known issue on my car that has less 45,000 miles. He said since I hadn’t purchased it here it would cost at least $140 to see if they might figure out what it could be. I asked why it hadn’t been looked at when it was served a couple of months ago and was told I didn’t purchase it there so I was out of luck. I understand that I didn’t purchase a certified vehicle and that it’s past 36,000 miles. There was no empathy shown nor options other than spending more money for exploring what it might be. I declined and asked for an oil change. I had to specifically ask if my car would be washed and was asked if I wanted it to be washed which I replied yes. The same employee came out to the waiting area later and sat next to me, with his back to me, and talked loudly to the customer who came in after me (but was helped before me) and told how he hated customers who were mean and had attitudes. He chatted with the customer about his wife for about 10-15 mins. My wife bought her new Volkswagen from this dealership and is the reason I bought my first Volkswagen. Because of this experience with this employee in particular AND that the vehicle is blowing hot air for about 10 mins when turning on the AC this early on, I’m actively looking at selling the vehicle at a loss. Expensive work with extremely disappointing results I brought in my Passat for a repair to the back driver side door lock as it was not working properly and was setting off the car alarm. I was told I brought in my Passat for a repair to the back driver side door lock as it was not working properly and was setting off the car alarm. I was told it would cost approximately $600 to fix it and it would “absolutely” fix the problem. I agreed to the repair. It did not fix the problem so I took the car back in. Then I discovered they fixed the back passenger side door instead. Was then told it would cost another $800 to fix the problem. I said I was done. And, they still charged me a $100 diagnosis fee! More
