We were initially looking at a Nissan Juke/Rogue and had almost bought one the previous day. We decided to go and look at the Tiguan, but the Jetta caught our eye. We test drove one and decided this was the car for us. However, the dealership we initially went to just did not seem interested in helping us find the right car, the right price, and the right trade in value. We told the salesperson that we would be leaving and he in no way shape or form tryed to make us stay or talk to us about any further deals. He never called back. We were already pre-financed and had a check in hand ready to purchase he basically lost a very easy sale. The next day we found Bud Brown VW on the internet and drove over an hour to Olathe Kansas just to test drive and assess our trade in. We knew we wanted to purchase the Jetta but after talking to the very knowledgeable sales person about the safety features we were not only for sure we wanted the jetta but very relieved about making the right choice for our family. That dealership was lousy - acting like it was a burden to have to deal with the former Baron customers. But now - alas! Bud Brown Volkswagen is here, and they are just like Baron used to be! The customer is treated extremely well. Our dealings thus far have been with our salesman (Brian Phillips) and the finance manager (Rick Moss). Both of these guys made us feel like our new car deal was the total focus of their day and that we were important to them. They were both extremely friendly. Our salesman was quite knowledgeable about VWs. And the finance manager went out of his way to configure a deal that fit our unique situation perfectly. The whole transaction went perfectly. We can also say, with regard to service, that on two previous instances when we have gotten estimates for service on one of our older VWs, Bud Brown VW's estimates were nearly 30% under the estimates of the "other" VW dealer.
