Very good buying experience. This dealership has a lot of models in the lot, the building is clean with a very nice and spacious lounging area. There were a few problems with the new computer software that they are using, but other staff members are very helpful and eventually I went home with the car that I wanted at a good price. After driving many vehicles and talking to many sales people -- several of whom frankly weren't that knowledgeable about their product -- Max Harrell was a breath of fresh air. He took us on a test drive and gave us a very thorough demonstration of both the mechanics and the features of the car. He answered all of our questions and was very professional. From the test drive, to the negotiations, to the delivery of the car, everything went smoothly and quickly. And they were very proactive with several follow-ups by phone and email the very next day. We would definitely recommend Max Harrell and Bud Brown VW to anyone who is in the market for a Volkswagen. More

I originally set up an appointment to look at a used vehicle with Mike Motley. We wasted no time, headed to the vehicle we wanted to look at, Mike did a grand job of showing us around it and explaining the different options it had. Mike presented us with a car fax report and we were on our way for a test drive. In the end this vehicle was not for us. There was never any pressure to purchase or attempt with any other vehicle. I was trying to get out of my v8 gas guzzler and Mike new this, he suggested before we left to consider a car instead of an suv.... I never really thought about it, so we said ok. The next day, far from my mind Mike calls, he knew I was really wanting to get out of my current SUV and he said he had been doing some thinking, asked for me to come in with my husband Saturday and take a look at the 2012 Passat. No pressure at all, and we agreed. I never dreamed I could have a brand new car but it happened, with a good sales team Bud Brown VW including Mike got me into my very own 2012 Passast. Mike was awesome enough to go over every silly question I had, show me how to sync my phone with the car, show me the in and outs. All together Bud Brown VW is a great dealership and Mike was a supreme sales consultant. The Passat itself is a beautiful car. There has never in my life been a point where I thought, "I have to have a VW". I looked around, alot!! The Kia Optima, the Hyundai Sonata, the Honda Accord and Subaru Legacy... None honestly felt as good as the Passat. More

Going into price negotiations a few weeks later when I was ready to buy, they did not haggle with me, and I walked out with a good pice well below MSRP (This only works if you come with a REALISTIC offer, they obviously won't sell you a car BELOW COST, It is a for-profit business). I financed my purchase, which they made a breeze and will work with VW Credit to get you the lowest rate possible. After purchasing, Jim was great about showing me all the great features of the car, how to operate everything, and made sure to give me plenty of time to come up with my own questions by not making me feel hurried. I highly recommend this dealership and Jim McNeal as a salesperson. Bud Brown is also doing twice the factory ... I do not have anything negative to say. Wow....what can I say? I have waited 30 years for my new VW Beetle...my first. I chose Bud Brown over our local dealer based on the first call I made there. Jim immediately wanted me to come in and visit with him, get to know him and the Bud Brown folks. After several phone calls, I made my first trip over to Kansas (from Missouri). The minute I walked in the door, I felt welcome...it was like home. I knew from that moment on I would be buying my first VW Beetle from this great group of friends. Now about Jim...wow, what a guy. I don't think they will allow me enough room to put into words what I want to say about this kind soul. First of all, my husband liked him from the start...which is saying a lot! I knew after Cris (husband) said he liked the guy and the Bud Brown crew, it was a green light to get my car. Being around Jim felt like being with a family member. I could tell he was truly interested in finding my Beetle and above all, I think he was more excited than I was. :) I arrived at Bud Brown Dealer at 5:20pm, March 21, 2011. Jim was waiting outside the door for us. The first thing I heard was his voice saying, "Teresa, over here". A welcome sight for sure, as we were both nervous. Our first VW and was raining as well. I was taken inside the building to find my Pearl Black VW Beetle sitting with the biggest red bow I have ever seen. You can't imagine the emotions, luckily I didn't cry...yet, that came as I drove away. Tears of pure joy. I could write a novel about this GREAT group of friends. Another wonderful aspect of this adventure for me, was actually getting to have Mr. Bud Brown involved in finding my car. I can honestly say that I have never met the owner of a car dealer in which I have had a conversation with. Mr. Brown treated us with kindness and respect from the start. In fact, I bought my first new car from Mr. Brown back in 1988, under a different dealership. I think that says a lot about a person being in the car business that long and it coming around full circle years later. Thank you Mr. Brown for thinking of me daily and keepin Jim and myself informed of where and when my new car would be here. A special shout out to Missy!!! Thank you so much for setting up my bluetooth phone with the car...you are a valuable gem with this group of friends as well. Happy I got to meet you! Jesse Little, another wonderful person.
