We recently purchased a used certified 2009 Jetta from Bud Brown Volkswagen. A few days after taking possession, we detected some paint flaws that frankly were not noticed before we finalized the deal on Bud Brown Volkswagen. A few days after taking possession, we detected some paint flaws that frankly were not noticed before we finalized the deal on the vehicle. After I took the car in for service two weeks after taking possession, I was approached by Larry Swanson as I walked through the used cars on display. When he mentioned he was the used car sales manager, I decided to express my concerns about the paint flaws. He was very friendly and listened patiently to me. He said he would examine the car while it was in the service department and get back to me later that day. To make a long story shorter, Larry insisted on taking the car back. Another used certified 2008 Jetta had come in that we liked even better, at the same price point, so we were offered and accepted an even exchange. We are now very pleased with our purchase. I consider this experience to be an example of customer service at its finest. As first-time Bud Brown customers, it's obvious to me our future business is important to them. We will probably be in the market for a Tiguan in the next year or two and naturally this will be the dealership we will come to first. Thanks again to Larry Swanson and also to our salesman Chris Jung, who was very helpful and friendly in our interactions with him.
