Bud Brown Volkswagen

We purchased a 2001 Beetle a month ago from Bud Brown Volkswagen . During the purchase the salesman and Internet sales manager were very friendly. I was very impressed and I sincerely thought that I ha Volkswagen . During the purchase the salesman and Internet sales manager were very friendly. I was very impressed and I sincerely thought that I had found a dealership that I was going to do business with for years to come. After driving our new used car a few days we noticed a short in the door lock system which would not allow the doors to lock nor the alarm system to work. This problem was sporadic so the problem would come and go. I think this problem was happening with the car before we purchased it and I do believe that the dealer probably was not aware of it due to it working on and off at times. This is where our disappointment started. I called the dealership several times and talked to the salesman that sold us the car asking if they might cover this problem since we had only been driving the car for 4 days. Again, very friendly salesman on the phone but despite several attempts via phone to the salesman that sold us the car and email to the internet sales manager, they did not respond even once to my request. Wow, UNBELIEVEABLE that a dealership would act in such an unprofessional way. I would have been somewhat satisfied to have gotten a call saying that they would not cover the problem just to have an answer. On a positive note, the car still has the problem with the door locks but we are very satisfied with it otherwise. I would not recommend Bud Brown Volkswagen but there are other VW dealers in our area that we will be checking out because we are planning to buy a VW Routan Van in a few months. More

Our experience buying a new 2013 GTI from Bud Brown Volkswagen was the best we have ever had. Andy was a fantastic salesman that really knew alot about the car we were buying. This is my first Volkswagen. I drive a lot for work and was looking at a fuel-efficient alternative to my 2012 Ford Taurus. Ramyaa Ramachandran suggested that I take a look at the VW Passat TDI. Overall I would say that we had a very good experience. My wife and I have owned 5 Volkswagen's in last 15 years and we have been very satisfied with the brand. The main reason that we ended up at the Bud Brown lot is that while we have been loyal customers and have consistently bought from the same lot (Northtowne) I simply did not feel that we were getting the level of preferential pricing and treatment that we deserved given the amount that we have spent at their location in the last 10 years. The people at the Bud Brown location gave me a reasonable deal and were as nice as anyone that is trying sell you a car would be. While I have no reason to believe that they are being disingenuous, I will reserve my judgement on the subject of service and treatment for the first time that I need help with a warranty issue and or when I consider going back in the future to buy another car. Our sales person was a young woman named Ramyaa Ramachandran. Ramyaa is new to selling cars, and was as knowledgeable as any person could expect her to be given her time in the industry. She was a very nice person, and I very much enjoyed having the opportunity to do business with someone who is getting started in his or her profession. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new car. More
