I gave Bud Brown a 3/5 for a few reasons. First reason being, I drove four hours to buy the vehicle from them. They did everything over the internet, it was pretty hassle free but I specifically asked the being, I drove four hours to buy the vehicle from them. They did everything over the internet, it was pretty hassle free but I specifically asked the salesman to drive the vehicle we were looking at and look for a specific issue that I learned they were prone to. He reported back to me that he couldn’t fault the vehicle for nothing and said it was good to go. While I don’t blame him, as he is just a salesman, service shouldn’t have put the vehicle on a rack and looked it over. When we arrived to pick the vehicle up, it was raining so I couldn’t climb underneath it to inspect the issue myself so I took his word for it. He also stated that they had already had someone wanting to buy the vehicle but backed out because they would not let her mechanic inspect it, which seemed off to me but we proceeded anyway as we drove 4 hours one way for this car. On the test drive a trim piece came off and they agreed to fix it and on the way home two more came off and they agreed to fix those, which I thought was honorable. I think the time at the dealer took longer than it should have since we had already done most everything over the phone. They gave good trade in value for my trade and had the vehicle I purchased priced competitively. But the kicker is, after asking for my vehicle to be inspected prior to my trip, once I got home I had my mechanic look at it and one of the front struts are bad, both lower ball joints are back and the third brake light doesn’t work. Approx $2500 in work for a shop to do. And all I got was “Sorry, that’s not covered under the required warranty.” No offer to look at it, no offer to help pay for anything, etc this is TWO days after I bought the vehicle that was supposedly problem free. Overall it was an okay experience, would I make the drive again to buy from them? Probably not. And definitely would advise anyone I knew going there to watch out. More
Jeff was top notch. I drove over 4 hours to purchase a used civic for my daughter and had issues loading it on my trailer. Jeff went the extra mile helping me out and was there every step of the way. Word of warning though, stay out of the little white office building - those guys are class A jerks and almost caused me to walk off the lot before meeting Jeff. More

Business was easy and quick with the dealership. Looked at two vehicles and settled on one. Financing didn’t take long and they worked to get us in and out as fast as possible to be conscious of COVID. at two vehicles and settled on one. Car on the lot wouldn’t start to begin with due to a corroded positive battery terminal, which they fixed well. About 1 week after owning the vehicle, there was a tremendous oil leak coming from the oil filter; lost 2 quarts of oil while driving and had to pull over. Mechanic that did presale inspection/oil change did not do a quality job in my opinion. I did an oil change myself and installed a new filter. Leak has stopped for now, but not before dousing the undercarriage in oil. Not very happy with mechanic. Although service was good, I’d hesitate to return due to this issue. Potential for me to lose a vehicle 7 days after purchase is terribly disappointing. More
