I worked with Smokey and he was very helpful and honest with me from the start. I drove from Oklahoma to purchase this car and nervous not knowing if I would be treated well when I got there. The drive was worth it though. I received exactly what was quoted to me for my trade and was treated great. The purchase was quick and I was back on the road with a car that was exactly what I was looking for but couldn't find due to the R being hard to find in such good condition. I would definitely recommend Bud Brown VW. More

They understood the situation and understood that many other details needed to be handled before buying the car. They worked well at communicating with my parents and even me 3 hours away. They treated us like we were family and made sure we were getting the best deal! They went above and beyond for us, and worked with us on whatever we needed to make this stressful situation easier on my parents and I. I came in town to give the final approval if I wanted it. When I showed up the car was parked out front all clean and just washed waiting for me. Max and Trevor were right there to greet me and my parents. Max gave us the tour of the car and was beyond patient when he had to repeat all the details about the car to me that he just explained to my parents a few days before. He was very patient with me and all my questions I had. The test drive was a great experience. Trevor helped us with the final paperwork and was very helpful working through it all with us. We must have visited over 10 dealerships in the city, but it quickly became evident that there was only one that possessed what it took to earn our business: Bud Brown Volkswagen. Marked by character, the whole team impressed us. Phil Brown, the owner was soft-spoken, easy going, genuine, and personable. Our salesman, Shannon Strong, was bright, incredibly knowledgeable about the cars, and genuine. He was prompt in getting back to us, patient, and he never pressured us. And he had a great sense of humor. I'm not sure where the other salespeople in Kansas City are learning how to create trust, but they could learn a great deal from Shannon. I have, no exaggeration, probably spoken to 25 salespeople over the last few months, and he is unequivocally the best. And finally, when is came time to fill out the paperwork and sign on the dotted line--the part that I looked forward to least--Jerry Arns surprised us: patient, thorough, and steady, Jerry helped us wrap up the deal, and he did so without pressure. Our entire experience at Bud Brown was stellar, and we will be back, no question. You may not hear about Bud Brown on every other ad on the radio because you don't need to. The Bud Brown team is phenomenal, and their actions and words are driven by character. And we love our new Golf! More
