I hate feeling like I’m being “sold” something and told all the reasons I should buy a particular car. Then I hate the back and forth of making a deal, feeling like the car price is too high and the trade value insultingly low. Then I don’t like getting pushed into buying a lot of add on products. None of that happened at Bud Brown. They showed me the cars I wanted to see and didn’t try to push me into anything else. They just answered my questions. The price was the advertised price and I got what I wanted out of my trade in. And we didn’t have to go back and forth several times. There was no high pressure selling of ads on products either. They just explained the add on products available. The whole process was easy and pain free and even enjoyable! I would recommend Bud Brown! More

Emergency Repair I had been taking my vehicle to Lawrence since I purchased it in 2014. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a tow that far after my timing chain broke. Bud B I had been taking my vehicle to Lawrence since I purchased it in 2014. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a tow that far after my timing chain broke. Bud Brown was my only option after having a bad experience at Molle VW. At first they tried to explain they were too busy to take my car in for a few days, which left me stranded. They also could not help me with a courtesy which was disappointing. However, Steve was great and made sure my car was assessed and I had transportation after the weekend. I had to wait two weeks for VW of America to get the part I need in stock and to Bud Brown. In the meantime, Steve worked with my warranty company to get me two weeks worth of rentals from the local Enterprise. After two weeks were up they put me in a courtesy car for a day so that they could test drive and ensure everything was in order. I appreciated the effort they put into getting my car back in shape in just a day and a half after receiving the parts. With timing chains there's often surrounding systems that are affected. Bud Brown service made sure that anything that may have been impacted was replaced. I'll be taking my car back in a few months for new spark plugs because of the great care and attention they gave my car and me through this process. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because of their initial response, and having to reach out to get the rentals. Otherwise, Bud Brown is a great local option for emergency repairs and maintenance. More
