Just a warning for those who seek to trade in your car here. I have a very nice 2018 Durango Citadel that I was considering trading in for a Traverse. When I got my Durango, it was on the heels of a tot here. I have a very nice 2018 Durango Citadel that I was considering trading in for a Traverse. When I got my Durango, it was on the heels of a total loss so time was of the essence and no Traverses were available at the time and rental cars were super expensive, I got the Durango which was my 2nd choice. I was just looking for a change of scenery and maybe getting my first choice now (a year later). They looked at my trade (never drove it) and came back with an offer of $23,500. I will attach a copy of my KBB value for a trade in was $26,919 (middle value - $28,363 high and $25,474 low). The value is $27-30. Their offer was about $3,500 lower than the KBB value middle offer and way under the actual value. Just beware and do your homework. Know what your car is worth before you go there. Auto's are ridiculous right now and with rates as high as they are, don't get tricked into losing thousands of dollars of your hard earned equity. I didn't go in and want top dollar because they have to re-sell but that offer, in my opinion, was predatory. A manager reached out and said it was because of repairs needed. Let me tell you, there are no dents, scratches, defects in this car. Pictures are publicly posted on autotrader now. When I asked for a list of what was identified by the appraiser, I heard no response back but I did reply that that answer was a cop-out and they should have a list of items to support their claim. Just beware. In a time where we are in an economy hurting to put food on your table, don't let a car dealer scam you for lower than what is a 'fair' offer. Maybe they were not hurting for inventory or were not willing to budge on anything because they hit their numbers, etc. The right thing to do would to say, you know we cannot offer you what your car is worth so I will not extend a trade in offer to you but would really like your business if you are interested in the car we have. That would have showed integrity and trust vs saying we will give you thousands below what it is worth on a trade in. Shame on you guys More
One of the worst dealer experiences I’ve ever had. Wanted to sell a car based on information obtained from dealership website. Decided to lease a car based on deal made with a manager using the trade in. Deal was repeated to the manager and verbally accepted. After sitting with finance, I learn that the deal was not as agreed upon (and confirmed by our salesperson). Bottom line, make sure they give you the deal in writing before going to finance (my bad) or it’s very possible it will get changed. Left without selling or trading the car and will never go back. I bought a Tundra from Chris and the entire process was awesome, if you are hesitant buying a vehicle online and having it shipped to you, use Chris (salesman). Chris had my vehicle put on a lift and the u awesome, if you are hesitant buying a vehicle online and having it shipped to you, use Chris (salesman). Chris had my vehicle put on a lift and the underside photographed to ease my concerns. The vehicle arrived and was exactly as expected. I’ve never met Chris or the finance manager, but I can say there was not attempt at hidden fees and everyone was straight forward and honest. Even the recommended shipping company Global Auto Transport (talk to Geo) was great. I live in Albuquerque but I will definitely buy another vehicle from Buckeye Nissan, fair price, no hidden fees, and accurate on the description. Give them a shot, it was a great experience for me. Shell game at its finest when it comes to repairs. Twice now they have fixed only half of my cars diagnosed issues only for me to come back less than 2 weeks later to inquire about noises persisting. Twice now they have fixed only half of my cars diagnosed issues only for me to come back less than 2 weeks later to inquire about noises persisting. Both times it was something they “missed” the first time…resulting in additional repairs of $3,500 and $2,800. They just want you in a new car. O have excellent credit and inwas forced into a loan that was not the best for me. The sales rep lied about rates for other institutions and refused to run my credit through ones I specifically asked for. I was not the best for me.
