My fiance and I purchased a 2022 chevy Silverado yesterday. Our sales person Jason Shrader was excellent, answered our questions we had throughly, good customer service, and overall best sales perso yesterday. Highly recommend if you go to Buchanan automotive to request Jason. The only complaint I have is the "sales manager" tried pricing us at a different rate than what they had on their online website, after we had explained the website had different pricing the manager did go back and fix the numbers. I bought a brand new vehicle and had issues the first week. They can’t fix the issue and have told me nothing but lies. They sell lemons !!! I wish I listened to my gut and talked my husband out driving almost 2 hours for a test drive. He saw their ad online for a Chevy Trail Boss selling for a way to good amount to be believed. So he scheduled a test drive for this past Saturday. Should have known something was up when he got a call in the morning from the dealership stating that they sold all of the trucks listed online but had more coming in and do we still want to come for a test drive. Of course hubby said yes. So we made the trek down. Got there and immediately was ushered to a "sales" desk with a "sales person" to start talking about what we were looking for. I thought okay this is normal but when we sat there for 45 mins after the "sales person" went to find the "sales manager" I thought something was up. So this "sales manager" came over and sat down and started to discuss numbers. First thing I noticed was that the price he had on the paper where not what was advertised. I pointed that out and he said "well all of those trucks have sold" I pointed out that according the the dealership's website, the price stated was good until June 30, 2021. His comment was, "let me see what I can do" and hubby asked if we can at least test drive a truck. We were told they didn't have any Trail Bosses on site but did have another model. Well a truck is a truck so we test drove that one and actually liked it. So, we got back to the dealership and sat and waited for the "sales manager" to come back with revised numbers. Well he came back and yes the number was revised by $2k. So we asked about the truck that we just test drove (mind you the price for this truck was already listed on their website) his response was to have the "sales person" provide him with the vehicle number and he would see what he could do. We sat there for another 45 mins while our "sales person" was waiting in line to get our "pricing". We were already there for almost 3 hours. We got up and told the "sales person" we had to go because we had to be somewhere and we walked out. Now if they were serious about trying to make the sale, I would have expected someone to come after us but nope. So basically this dealership is more into volume sales than on customer service and honoring the price on their website. This is a prime example of "bait and switch" sales. I do not recommend going to this dealership for anything because as the saying goes "if it looks to good to be true, then it's not true". Mind you this review is nothing against Chevy at all. I do like Chevy trucks. More
BUYER BEWARE of misleading advertisine and unethical sales process. I purchased a vehicle from Buchanon Automotive in April,'21. I drove to the dealership to purchase the vehicle. The dealership adve sales process. I purchased a vehicle from Buchanon Automotive in April,'21. I drove to the dealership to purchase the vehicle. The dealership advertises low prices, however you would have to finance thru their preferred lender otherwise they charge additional $2000. Then you have to buy, as in forced to buy their theft protection for $699. They advertise $4300 below cargurus market price but add it back on with these charges. Also their financing rates are not competive, they are three times expensive. I have excellent credit and they offered me over 6%, and the rate depends on how much you finance. Also during negotiation the sales person stated the theft protection was for lifetime. But when I saw the contract it was for 3 years. I told him, hey you stated it was a lifetime protection. He said I made a mistake, but you still have to buy it or the deal is OFF. In summary, the dealership advertises low, but they slap on bogus fees and coverage to close the gap to increase the sales price. I bought their car but wouldn't have had I not driven 80+ miles to get it, spent 4 hours at the dealership at that piont and they had already taken my trade in, removed the plates, sawed off the screws off license plate. Purchasing a vehicle from this dealership was a horrendous experience. The sales process was lengthy and the team members we worked with were disorganized, deceitful, and condescending. We were charged incorrect sales tax twice and were lied to about the financing terms of our loan. Gap insurance was added after we had declined this coverage twice and a third party extended warranty was added without our consent. We had to wait for paperwork to be redone several times in order to have these things removed and numerous other errors corrected. After spending over $50,000 on a vehicle, we were given less than ¼ tank of gas to drive several hundred miles home. The registration transfer took 8 weeks to complete and was processed incorrectly. Instead of transferring our personalized plates to the new vehicle as we requested twice during our transaction, we were given generic plates. I have purchased six vehicles in my adult life and have never encountered such poor communication and patronizing deception until my experience with Buchanan Automotive. More
This was the absolute worst experience trying to purchase a vehicle. The manager Mike was completely unprofessional. They had messed up a figure on a sales contract, and instead of working with us for thei a vehicle. The manager Mike was completely unprofessional. We had to walk away from the dealership. Don’t waste your time and find a better dealership. This dealership is a joke! More
Went window shopping and ended up buying a truck, Rhonda and Alex were both very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The sales team in general looked as if they have been doing their job for years, all customers were engaged and helped almost immediately. I myself was a walk in and within 2 minutes of being there Rhonda already approached me with a big smile and showed me around the lot. Any questions I had in regards to what I was looking for was answered and within 15 minutes of my visit Rhonda had found my truck I have been looking for! Alex then helped me get my payment that I was comfortable with in order and from there you know the rest lol. Thank you Rhonda and Alex for making my experience relaxing and informative, next time I'm in the market for a vehicle ill be sure to stop by Buchanan! More
