While we respect the fact that customers may review and read the reviews of others, we believe that is equally important that potential customers are offered a different perspective regarding some reviews. What is being described by this review is not the process or program we want or expect for our customers. Whenever a prospective customer indicates that they have had an experience at Buchanan that differs from what we would expect we feel that a thorough review of all the facts is in order. Upon review we found that we had an appointment scheduled with this customer. We complied with the customers request that we not call them and understood that they would call us prior to their appointment. The dealerships intent was to advise the customer that the vehicle they had inquired about had been sold but that we had many similar vehicles or could get another vehicle exactly as they wanted. We do invite all of our customers to come into the showroom and sit down with us so that we can share information with each other. Our purpose is to assist with determining which vehicles are going to best suite their needs at the lowest possible price. All customers are welcome and encouraged to take the vehicles for a test drive. We would have no desire or expectation that we should help a customer buy a vehicle that they haven’t test driven to ensure that it is exactly what they want and that the equipment meets their expectations. We have contacted this customer in an attempt to resolve their concerns but they have demonstrated no interest in even speaking with us or allowing further contact. As always we have honored their wishes. We are disappointed that we were unable to assist them. It is our goal to help every customer to our utmost ability every day every time. We only hope that wherever they decide to do business that their best interest is the number one concern of the dealership.
