Richard was very helpful, he explained a concern we had and what is happening with our Subaru. All of the staff were very nice. We drove off with a clean car and a happy face. and what is happening with our Subaru. All of the staff were very nice. We drove off with a clean car and a happy face. More

Though it is ridiculous to charge extra for using a credit card at a car dealership, there is no way I could hold that against Brian and the excellent attention I get when having my vehicle serviced. credit card at a car dealership, there is no way I could hold that against Brian and the excellent attention I get when having my vehicle serviced. Richard was great working with and quick to inform me of anything that came up and notify me of any additional costs prior to doing any work. The reason I'm giving the dealership a low rating is because anything that came up and notify me of any additional costs prior to doing any work. The reason I'm giving the dealership a low rating is because of how my car was returned to me and lack of follow up when the issue was brought up. I brought my vehicle in for 2 recalls to be performed. While performing the recalls it was noticed non-factory wiring was in the way of removing a panel that was needed to access the airbag. Richard came and got me and brought me to the vehicle to talk with the mechanic. I knew what the wiring was for and explained it could be disconnected from the harness behind the radio. The mechanic was fine with this and proceeded on. Richard did come inform me there would be an additional .5/hour charge since the mechanic was having to remove the radio that he normally wouldn't have to if it was factory. This came out to roughly $80+tax, which I authorized. While waiting for the recalls to be completed I explained to Richard how I've been restoring the car and replacing pieces with brand new OEM parts. I had horrible anxiety bringing my car in because I had replaced most of the center console/dash parts literally within the last 2 months and I didn't want them to get damaged, which I mentioned in the conversation. I was told I had nothing to worry about. When I received my car back, my fear was realized as the brand new shifter surround had a small gouge/scratch in the bottom right corner. I sat there momentarily to decide what I wanted to do and ultimately went back in to get a price on a replacement piece (roughly $92) and inform my service writer. Richard promptly came out, took a look at it and took pictures and told me he would reach out to the Service Manager. I did mention I felt bad even bringing something so minor up and that I figured the service manager probably wouldn't do anything about it. Richard said not to worry and that someone would call to let me know. I left feeling bad about even bringing it up but I had literally just replaced the panel. I decided to put on some music while driving back home and that's when things got worse. At first I noticed something wasn't right with how my radio was mounted. Instead of being centered in the dash opening (like it was when I brought it in) it was essentially "bottomed out" resting on the bezel trim with a big gap at the top. I went ahead and plugged my phone in to listen to music since there was nothing I could do in that moment and that's when I found out my passenger side speakers were no longer working. I did not notice this when I first took the car because it was returned to me with the radio off. Once I got home I began to look at the radio to verify something software related didn't get changed to cause the speakers to stop working when I ended up resting my arm on the center console. When I placed my arm on it the entire center console shifted over. I proceeded to see what happened and realized I could move the center console side to side without any issues and there was a gap between the console and transmission tunnel. I opened it and realized it was never bolted back down. The bolts were in the mounting holes and started, but were not tightened all the way down and look like they are probably cross threaded as the bolts are vertical but the mounting holes are on an angle. It has now been 2 days (this happened Thursday 9/14/23) and I have not received any calls regarding my shifter panel nor have I had the chance to bring up these other issues I discovered. I was ready to count my losses and order ANOTHER shifter surround initially, but after discovering everything else and being charged an extra $80+tax because the radio had to be removed just to get my car returned back to me this way has me absolutely furious. I hope the dealer would be willing to make this right but I fear nothing will come of it. I do appreciate your assistance Richard, you have been a pleasure to work with. More

As I mentioned in an email and a text message, it was simply the best car buying experience we ever had. No surprises and everything was just as expected. In fact it was $800 less when we signed and what we had completed the purchase agreement for. More
