Almost every time I have used the service department I am treated as some type of criminal by some young clerk. This time I was charged for lug nuts which they said I had over tightened and that’s why they s treated as some type of criminal by some young clerk. This time I was charged for lug nuts which they said I had over tightened and that’s why they stripped them. I use a torque wrench and am very careful. The attitude of the young men working at the service department is one of a prideful arrogance. I also did not get a complementary wash as normally happens. I have been going to this dealer for maintenance since I bought the car there in 2005. They have always treated me fair and back up their work. I called the Service Dept about an issue with our Van. We were going out of town and wanted to have the issue addressed as soon as possible before we left. The Service Advisor was able to get us an appointme were going out of town and wanted to have the issue addressed as soon as possible before we left. Cathy who checked me in on my last visit was very helpfull, and I wish to complement her on her professionalism and courtesy to me. The sad part is this is the second visit when a conversation ca helpfull, and I wish to complement her on her professionalism and courtesy to me. The sad part is this is the second visit when a conversation came up about reimbursement from corporate for my service contract coverage. It is very" obvious that If I was not very well read on what is and is not covered in my Service Contract, For the second time I would have paid a significant higher price for my service visit.....Also on my previous visits I have mechanics telling me that my Struts are worn and need to be replaced, but the Brunswick Mechanic says they are not in need of replacement. So I asked the Service "Manager" on my prior Visit how long struts usually last, (with out mentioning my vehicle or mileage) and he said struts "usually last five too seven years", ( I had over seventy thousand miles on my Struts at that time). I do understand the labor involved to replace struts, and a comment was made by a previous Service adviser that the Corporate people do not reimburse adequately for many issues, with customers with a "SERVICE CONTRACT" like you not having Mopar parts available so Corporate won't fully reimburse the Dealership. or corporate labor reimbursement is not adequate.......anyway I can't Blame the "Service MANAGER" for trying to save some time and Money, or can I ?.....Just please tell Cathy I appreciate her help for this visit she is Great to deal with........ . OK service, Made appointment online, but acted as if they knew nothing why I was there. Ordered oil change and requested that the fuel filter be replaced - didn't happen! Never even brought up, why? One of first appointments for the day (@7:30), took an hour and a half just to service the car - really? This was the third time I brought my Toyota in for service and have yet to feel comfortable with the service. 92.3 More
