We wanted to look at a specific used car VW Atlas.. Called to verify they actually had it in stock. Bob Barr put his eyes on it. We test drove it, wife didn't like the way she fit in the seat. When I was preparing to order my car, they estimated 6-8 weeks. Another dealer had quoted me 16 weeks, and I went with Brunswick because they told me 6-8 even after I let them know that another had told me weeks. Another dealer had quoted me 16 weeks, and I went with Brunswick because they told me 6-8 even after I let them know that another had told me 16 for the same car. Upon receiving my order confirmation, I had a wait time of 16 weeks. I felt misled and lied to, because at that point I couldn’t back out without losing $1,000. I also had tremendous difficulty getting them to work with my credit union financing, even though I have financed through my credit union other times with no difficulty. The woman who ran my credit card to make my down payment was also extremely rude, scoffing at me when I tried to make polite conversation while I waited for my card to go through. More
Amazingly an oil change is never the same price from one visit to the next. They include a tire rotation in their basic price which does not apply since the dealership required that I purchase 4 new tires visit to the next. They include a tire rotation in their basic price which does not apply since the dealership required that I purchase 4 new tires including 2 years of tire rotations. Furthermore, the sales department sells you he tire warranty that is worthless. The claim is that they will repair any road hazard damage free of charge. However, four-wheel-drive vehicles require that all four tires be changed at the same time. With that requirement, you still have to buy and pay for three full price tires. When I yes the dealership to repair the bad tire under warranty, they said I had to call the number on the warranty, obtain the claim number, and then they can address the issue. After driving back home and contacting the claim representative, I was told to return the vehicle to the dealership, and have them contact the warranty company with a claim number that was provided to me. When I returned to the dealership, I was told that I needed four new tires since this was a four wheel drive vehicle. They also claimed that the warranty wouldn’t apply because it was a side wall issue. More
Went to buy a used car and figured it was going to take a while. Fortunately Jay Valentine “Dr. Duece” was present. If you go you will have to ask how he got the name. He fixed me up with a great car and the while. Fortunately Jay Valentine “Dr. Duece” was present. If you go you will have to ask how he got the name. He fixed me up with a great car and the price I needed in less time than I figured. I knew what I needed and the car was there. More
