This was my first time dealing with Brownsville Toyota and it was an easy, pleasurable time and transaction. More specifically was their standing by their word, on the things I requested when picking and it was an easy, pleasurable time and transaction. More specifically was their standing by their word, on the things I requested when picking up the car. Small things like that show that a dealer is listening and catering to the customer. The stigma dealerships have, especially in current market trends, tends to lead to a rigid transaction, wasted time and uncomfortable negotiations. The particular car I was purchasing (GR Corolla) was not something readily available. By standards of Toyota it’s rare, as only a few dealers in all of Texas have one or received one. My experience with other Toyota dealers in Texas, trying to purchase this car all fell through from bad communication, soured negotiations and misleading practices. Having already experienced enough bad situations, I was impressed by Brownsville and their team on keeping their word. I was driving over 5 hours away to acquire the car, so I was concerned previous conversations or agreed upon deals would somehow “change” when I arrived. I can happily report that everything we discussed on the phone was the same in person. Their initial word on putting my name down on an car, without a long list of signed “paperwork”, proves that there are still remaining car dealerships looking to serve customers and build relationships, even for a vehicle that’s currently hard to find and being priced well above MSRP. I appreciate their transparency on the deal and the quick order in which I was done. Thank you to Orlando Perez for the sale and ease of communication while traveling to the dealership. Also, a special thank you to Vini Garduno, as I had the pleasure of doing my first test drive him, in car I’ve been waiting for, for over a year. He kept everything just as I requested and was able to assist with any questions I had and preparing the car for me to drive. Even with the distance, any future Toyota vehicles I may want, will first be considered with the team at Brownsville. Thank you! More
