I dread car shopping/buying, and did not want to spend my entire Saturday sitting at a car dealership - I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this experience was. Our sales person, John Borotka and Manager, Dave Barnhouse, were very upbeat and friendly, they explained everything, appeared to be genuinely concerned that we walk out of the dealership as happy customers. And, that's exactly what happened, we were satisfied with the deal we got. Thanks guys, we will continue to look toward Brown's Toyota of Glen Burnie for our future auto needs. More
Wonderful car buying experience, not so much on financing I like to think of myself as a car buyer who emulates the method from "The Millionaire Next Door." I only buy certified pre-owned vehicles. I only buy what makes practical sense for my family. I don't haggle over sticker prices if I'm confident I have nailed the range. I keep my eye on the fundamentals. I buy fast. I pay cash unless I get a rate in the neighborhood of the inflation rate. I put well more than 100,000 miles on my cars. All this was totally complementary with the serious sales professionals at Brown's Toyota of Glen Burnie. I found them via the Toyoya pre-owned certified website, and reached out to them and to other dealers in the area. By far, the guys at Brown's showed they wanted my business. I was emailing and texting these guys from first thing the morning after I submitted the query to them, and by the next day I had so many good conversations that I knew where I wanted to give my business. No other dealer really tried. Ray Quinlan was great, a solid guy who knows his stuff. Robert Simms also reached out and was very, very helpful. For what I wanted--a great, reliable, pre-owned Toyota--I got it. They even had a play area for my kids. What was a little disappointing was the financing process. Before heading over there, I got pre-approved elsewhere for a 36 month loan with a low 2.09 percent rate. Not surprisingly, they could not beat that. However, the system for arranging the financing is clunky and needs to be modernized. The financing documents (apparently) use pre-Windows 95 software and print out on a dot matrix looking printer. Nothing was electronic. The purchase order had to be faxed to the financing institution I was using. It's up to me to deliver a check--no wire transfer available!--from my financing institution to Brown's. Keep in mind I live in Alexandria, VA and they are all the way up in Glen Burnie, MD. I have to figure all this out on Monday. It would be better if they could just interact with my lender themselves and keep me out of it. Second best would be giving me wire instructions for my lender to get them paid. But that's an exception. What I actually came here for--buying a good car for my family--could not have been more enjoyable. Just modernize the financing process and it's a five star experience. More

If you want to improve your overall performance at Brown's.......Hire more Clever Bautista's............or at least figure out a way to clone him! More

All along the way Alan kept me updated on the process and once the order finally got accepted any movement along the way. The truck finally arrived on Feb 28, 2018 and I had a text with a picture before it even got rolled off the delivery vehicle. I would recommend Brown's and Alan Adams to any family, friend or coworker. The 50 mile drive from Woodbridge, VA to Glen Burnie was worth the effort for such a hassle free experience.. More

Great customer service - NO PRESSURE ! Visited on a Friday afternoon just wanting to test drive a car i knew they had on their lot and that i was very interested. There was no pressure and the salesman, Ray Quinlan, was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I ended up buying the car that evening because it was sooo easy. The finance dept and manager were able to get ma a good deal and keep may payments within the range that i wanted. The last time i purchased a car on my own was 1997 and it was NOT a good experience, so happy to say that overall the process was so easy. Even though i bought the car in Maryland but resided in VA, they gave me the VA sales tax, which is cheaper, and also registered car for me and sent me my VA plates via FEDEX when they were ready. Great service! I plan to return when I am ready for another car and refer family friends to them as well. More

He was kind, informative and had a lot to add to my buying experience. Even though buying a used car, he made me feel confident of my purchase. In addition, Mr. John's manager, Dave Barnhouse, was terrific to work with also. Since this was my second purchase, that should tell you that these folks know what they are talking about and make the purchasing experience not a difficult as one would think. Convenient, Reliable and Accommodating They accommodated both my husband and I on the same day once we discovered we had both scheduled service for our cars within hours of each other. I ended up giving my appmt. to my husband so I would be able to pick him up and take him to work but it worked out that I was able to drop mine off when we picked his up so we were pleased that we didn't have to do the same thing on two different days. Also, I had only had my car for two weeks when I scratched it big time by dropping something onto it when I was on a ladder in my garage. The scratch looked deep and I feared it was going to cost a fortune, but I didn't want to leave my brand new car all scratched up. I called Brown's and explained the situation; they told me there was someone who comes in once a week to assess damage like this and I was able to bring it in that week. Not only were they able to fix it, but they did it while I waited and it did not cost a fortune. You would never know that awful scratch was ever there! I did not buy my Toyota at Brown's simply because they didn't have the one I wanted when the Labor Day sale was going on, but I do bring it here for service and will continue to do so. They always greet you with a smile and are never anything but pleasant and professional. More
