Sevice department is terrible. I waited 5 hours to get new tires on my car. Apparently one of the machines broke and they had to take it to another dealership and just left me sitting there clueless of w new tires on my car. Apparently one of the machines broke and they had to take it to another dealership and just left me sitting there clueless of why it was taking so long. When I finally got up to ask what was going on the guy's response was "oh I was going to come let you know." This is after 2 weeks earlier I had an appointment with them to get my tires and I sat there for 2 hours before they realized that they never ordered my tires in the first place! They had 2 weeks to do it, but I've come to realize that the staff there is incompetent and it doesn't seem like they even care. I won't be going back! More
I went into this dealership to investigate the purchase of a Prius. I was quoted 2-3 weeks availability. When I asked for a trade-in appraisal I was asked how I came up with the numbers I had been propo of a Prius. I was quoted 2-3 weeks availability. When I asked for a trade-in appraisal I was asked how I came up with the numbers I had been proposing. When I told the sales associate I had sold cars for awhile the Sales Mgr came over. Availability went to 3-4 months. I asked for a trade-appraisal against a grey model on the lot. The Mgr said it was "spoken for". I asked why I had been allowed to drive it he did not answer. I asked for an tradein appraisal for either the red or grey Prius on the lot. I was told they both were spoken for. When I asked to see the deposit receipts I was told they were spoken for. The sales associate said he had just checked with "The Desk" and they all were for sale. the Mgr repeated "they were all spoken for". I left the Glen Burnie Toyota store and had my wife call and ask about Priuses. the salesman said they had 3, red, grey, and white that were for sale and she could drive one home in one hour. The Sales manager lied to my face. In my opinion he behaves like a lying, cheating sack of SXXT. BEWARE of this dealership. When I asked to see the General Manager he was; in a meeting. I would wait - He has to leave immediately after the meeting. I wish to make an appointment. His calender is full. He can't meet with anyone. More
I went in to test drive some vehicles. The salesman immediately tried to push the highest price vehicle (4 Runner) on the lot and decided that he should decide what vehicle was right for me. After try immediately tried to push the highest price vehicle (4 Runner) on the lot and decided that he should decide what vehicle was right for me. After trying a couple of vehicles, he got obstinant and refused to let me see or drive any more cars (particularly when I mentioned that I might want to test drive the low priced Corolla). He was belligerant and I demanded to see a manager at the front desk. The manager would do nothing. I guess they don't want to sell cars. I promise I'll never go back. More
I was looking to purchase a 2005 Scion tC. It should have been a simple purchase as Scion now does pure pricing and there should be very little negotiating/haggling. I had test driven a month or so bef have been a simple purchase as Scion now does pure pricing and there should be very little negotiating/haggling. I had test driven a month or so before the purchase and Joe Jackson was the salesman I talked with that day. He was very nice and I had decided to come back and purchase from him. However the day I came into buy I was very disappointed. I had several questions but Joe was unable to answer any of them thoroughly. He had to go and ask a manager about everything, financing, delivery, even how one of the options worked for the car. And even then I wasn’t feeling comfortable with his explanations and I tried to get further clarifications. After going in circles for about 45 minutes I decided I should just leave. This is when Joe got angry and rude. He grabbed the sales manager (who was nice), but Joe got defensive and made it seem like it was my fault I wasn’t understanding. After leaving, I went to the Laurel Toyota/Carmax, and dealt with Arthur Hall who had sold my mom her previous Toyotas. We had all of the paperwork completely explained and signed within an hour. Hope this is useful to anyone looking to visit in the future. More
