Lost key to vehicle and was informed that in order to obtain new keys the computer in the vehicle had to be re programed. Upon arrival with the vehicle via tow truck we as the customer had to pay, Toyot obtain new keys the computer in the vehicle had to be re programed. Upon arrival with the vehicle via tow truck we as the customer had to pay, Toyota determined in order to program new keys we now needed a brand new computer. This process took about a week and the car was then driven to the Toyota body shop to get a new bumper. Some time within that week our motor locked up which is now determined we need a new motor. If we had a problem why was we not informed by some sort of warning signs? When the car left us there were no engine problems, in fact there was never a problem with the vehicle since I bought it brand new from this dealership. Some where something happened that is not being clearly explained and the cost and blame is being put on us, the customer. If your technicians/managers are as professional as noted, why were we not informed of any possible problems before they transported and drove the car to the next location for body repairs. This action is unacceptable. I've been with Toyota sinc 1987 and purchased multiple cars and SUVs two at a time. We've been loyal customers to Toyota and we feel we were done wrong with this incident. The actions don't add up and to receive the information after the fact is unacceptable. More

The service and experience at this dealership has been nothing but excellent from my first experience. The service reps. clearly explain what is needed for my vehicle and detail the price parameters befo nothing but excellent from my first experience. I have been a long time customer of Brown's Toyota for many years now. We have purchased 6 vehicles from Brown's mainly due to one reason. The excellent service we receive consistantly from Jackie Clubb. many years now. We have purchased 6 vehicles from Brown's mainly due to one reason. The excellent service we receive consistantly from Jackie Clubb. We do not treat our vehicles badly and Toyota cars and trucks have always performed well for us. But, after our first Brown's purchase, a 2005 Toyota Matrix, we did have an unusual problem with the Matrix with the brakes that could not be duplicated in the dealer service bay environment. After going to other service advisors at Brown's pleading our case, Jackie actually took the time to listen to me and even came to our house to understand what we were experiencing in a real use environment. Imagine her surprise when the brakes failed exactly as we were describing. From that time forward, Jackie has been the only advisor that I feel comfortable to work with. She has even assisted in our purchases of our vehicles and constantly strives to give me peace of mind when I bring our cars in for regular maintenance or repairs. I feel I can trust her as my advisor and feel I am being presented with facts when talking about my vehicles, not as a service sales person trying to sell me something, but as a person who cares about me. Jackie is outstanding and needs to be recognized for her contributions to Brown's Toyota customers. More

I am not sure why this dealership gets such good review scores. I wonder who write all the positive reviews. Even with a direct email quote from their internet sales manager, the manager told me that it wa scores. I wonder who write all the positive reviews. Even with a direct email quote from their internet sales manager, the manager told me that it was just his mistake. Moreover, I had to wait two hours just to meet him. Then he offered me a price that is more than $1000 higher than the price other local dealer in the area. And he said that the price was just $100 over their dealer costs and all dealers in the area should have the same deal so it couldn't be lower. What was funny was that it took me just a few minutes over a phone to get a quote from other dealer that was $1000 lower than what he had offered to me. When I emailed him, he said "Congratulation". At the dealership, the manager said the price he gave me was special price for Prius C (not regular Prius I asked about) and it was his mistake, but in fact even his Prius C price was almost $2000 higher than the price of other dealers. He even said the price wouldn't last long, which was very ridiculous. Very frustrating experience at the dealer. It is not just about the price, it is about the way they treat a customer. I have a feeling that they do their business based on an assumption that customers in the area are not smart enough. I may be wrong, but otherwise I can't explain why they treated me like that. I have more to say, but I will just quit here. It is just waste of my time. More
