I already had an appointment scheduled with BD for routine maintenance. I took my car for a front end alignment at a mechanic closer to where I work in NJ. During the alignment I was contacted and inf routine maintenance. I took my car for a front end alignment at a mechanic closer to where I work in NJ. During the alignment I was contacted and informed that my car required rear brakes - pad, rotors, calipers. The cost would be $700. I was concerned that my brakes were in such bad shape as BD just inspected my car three weeks prior. I called BD as what the cost to replace my brakes would be. They quoted me a price very close to the price I had received from the garage where my car was aligned. BD also was concerned that my brakes could be that bad. I decided to take my car to BD for the brakes. Good thing because the other garage tried to rip me off. BD was so helpful and did not do unnecessary work. They also saved me about $400. When I told the other garage I was taking my car to BD for the brakes really because of the recent inspection the counter guy told me I should really pick one garage to take my car to so the mechanic is familiar with my car. Well I Have picked one mechanic and I will be taking my car to BD from now on. More
