I, like many other people rating this dealership, heard commercials and thought this would be a good way to get out of an upside down loan i have on a car. When I walked in, greeted by receptionist immedia commercials and thought this would be a good way to get out of an upside down loan i have on a car. When I walked in, greeted by receptionist immediately then met with Mike. Mike was way too busy selling another car and pushed Rob, who has been working in car sales for 2 weeks to assist me. Rob and I proceed to walk the lot for 30 minutes looking for a car that he ends up admitting to me he sold earlier in the day. Moron! Rob then tells me I should buy a car when i tell him i do not like it. Rob THEN attempts to convince me to buy a brand new Kia, even after i repeatedly tell him i think brand new cars are a waste of money. COMPLETE NIGHTMARE! Rob then proceeds to tell me I'd be allowed to test drive a car, lucky me! During test drive, Rob continuously interrupts me while I'm telling him about my thoughts on the car. I end up liking the car and wish to apply for financing. Rob and Mike then proceed to tell me they both just sold a car on a lady who was way upside down on her car loan and they helped her out of it. While waiting for Juan and Mike to run the numbers Rob comes over to inform me that he was told to sweeten me up and so he had to talk to me. Rob then proceeds to interrupt me every time I say something to him and tells me he didn't want to let me drive the GTI because he thought i would drive reckless. Mike then comes over and gives me a ridiculous number on a used Volkswagen GTI (more expensive then brand new!) and offers me a payment of near 600 dollars a month. I absolutely refuse and tell him my budget. Mike also throws me a way low ball number on my trade in, with the excuse that its a 2008 (apparently a classic) Mike and Rob go talk for 5 minutes and Rob comes back asking if he could still be my friend... however they could not deal with someone in an upside down loan like me! I will never ever visit this dealership again and also will be putting in a phone call to Mr. Ring to let him know his dealership is a complete joke More
I purchased a used car from this dealer. I was trading in a car with a high payment and some equity trying to eliminate the payment. The salesman was very helpful and found me just what I wanted. The ve in a car with a high payment and some equity trying to eliminate the payment. The salesman was very helpful and found me just what I wanted. The vehicle I purchased was missing a gas tank door and that was to be replaced along with some other issues. I had to make several trips to get the other issues taken care of and I still haven't gotten the gas tank door replaced. I purchased the car in November. It is now January. I have contacted the salesman several times and have been told to be patient. I called a sales manager and he told me all I had to do was call service and schedule it. I have called service 3 times to leave a message and still haven't heard back. Also, I was sent a thank you card asking me to write a review. Still waiting. More
As ae mentioned previously, I heard all the commercials and ads how any credit will do, no down payment and the kicker....up to 8600 more than your trade. So we too drove down there, an hour, after being v and ads how any credit will do, no down payment and the kicker....up to 8600 more than your trade. So we too drove down there, an hour, after being very clear as to our situation and Tierney assured us we could be helped. We get there, and staff was friendly, just not fully truthful over phone, but our rep...forgot his name, was honest and said they could not help. The 8600 was only for good credit customers. So unless you have good credit or own your trade outright, DO NOT go here!!! More

When I walked in the dealership door I felt like i had stepped into a "B" Grade movie set. There I was, back in the 1970s! Lots of people bustling around, lots of balloons, plenty of salesmen all on the stepped into a "B" Grade movie set. There I was, back in the 1970s! Lots of people bustling around, lots of balloons, plenty of salesmen all on the phone or writing down figures. Stood around for a few moments to get my bearings and then went up to the receptionist. I thought she was going to give me a number and wait to have my name called over an intercom, just like at a meat counter in a supermarket. I had entered this joint to get a price estimate for a 2012 Optima. I had already looked out in the dealer lot and did not see what I was looking for. What I DID see was ridiculous mark-ups of thousands of dollars for lifetime engine warranties and regional sales markups. Before I could get a price out of the salesman who eventually took me to a small semi-private cubicle, we had to go back out to the lot to look at the cars again. Again I told the salesman that the car I was looking for was not in the lot. After looking again at all the cars, yes, we determined there were no cars that met my description-BUT there WAS a car that met my requirements if I could pay for the additional $2,000 technology package. We went back in the office and the salesman left me to go talk to his sales manager. He came back in about five minutes and then told me he had to leave again as all the sales force had to report to the managers area. After 7-10 minutes, all the salesmen proceeded to do a dance on the floor. A few minutes later the saleman came back and wanted to know what my credit score was. I gave him an approximate number and he left again to talk to his sales mananger again. When he came back the salesman (I never did get his name) wrote some information on a manila folder and left again. Then a 'Sales Manager" came over and asked if we could make a deal. I told him that I still had no price for a car yet. He told me that Saturday was his busiest day, he didn't have exactly what I wanted, and that if he called other dealers on such a busy day they would hang up the phone. He said he would call me on Monday (Today is Wednesday)and no call yet. Bottom line with this dealership: if you want to be hustled like it was 1978 in the disco era, please go and get ripped off by Tom Ring's hacks. And by the way- "YOU WON'T SEE ME IN A BROWN-DAUB KIA! Busy Bees, extremely nice, professional, patient, understanding, courteous, supreme customer service, excellent music, fun atmosphere, great offers and deals and beyond my customer service expectatio understanding, courteous, supreme customer service, excellent music, fun atmosphere, great offers and deals and beyond my customer service expectations. I knew they had just moved so I expected some complications with the building and the lot. Come to see they were more then prepared to deal with that and their customers. They made us feel welcomed and constantly asked if we needed something even I wasn’t their customer. I am a customer service manager and I wish they were working for me. They excepted my trade, helped me find a great car, and worked very hard to get me financing. I left with the feelings of not that I had purchased a new car but that “wow they were something else”. Thank you for getting me into my new wheels and your great service. More
I had worked for a car delaership in the 80s, but had to check anyway to post. Traded a Chev Equinox. Purchased 2011 Sorento. No comparison. The Sorento drove rings around the Equinox in all aspects such as check anyway to post. Traded a Chev Equinox. Purchased 2011 Sorento. No comparison. The Sorento drove rings around the Equinox in all aspects such as styling, mileage, price for what you got & I got a great trade-in price. In the snow, the Equinox was AWD & I got stuck. FWD Sorento "plowed" through with no slipping nor sliding with the traction engaged. I added post assembly options & the cost, professional installation & timing it took to install was outstanding. My only problem is the lack of space in the rear cargo area. It could be larger even with the 2nd & 3rd rows folded. I also owned a Pontiac Aztec. Say what you will about they styling (some called it ugly, have you seen the Element, talk about ugly), but I had the cargo rolling platform installed & I could load 30 bags of mulch & close the hatch. I could also remove the 2nd row seats completely out. Talking about the rolling hatch platform (don't know if that's the proper name of it)that might be something that could be added as an option/accessory. One disengages the lock, slides the platform, load your groceries or whatever, disengage the open lock & slide it back in. This releaves bending into the cargo area & it idea for short or height challenged people. Also the complete removal of the 2nd row seats. I have 1 sister who purchased a Rondo & my other sister is starting to look for a replacement of her gas guzzeling Town & Country. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a Kia & Tom Ring's Brown-Daub Kia dealership for her purchase. Professionalism = Tom Ring's Brown-Daub Kia. Good luck with Aunt Bessie dealership. I'm sure that will be a success also. More
As I read over the other reviews on this page I wonder..."was I at the same place?"... I called first because I did not want to waste my time or anyone elses(let alone gas money that I cannot affor wonder..."was I at the same place?"... I called first because I did not want to waste my time or anyone elses(let alone gas money that I cannot afford).. I hear the commercials on the radio all the time about helping people with bad credit. "Fight for the People" so I figured this was the place to go since I needed a car and have poor credit. The women on the phone (very pleasant) assured me that I could be helped. "We deal with 40 different banks which sets us apart from other dealerships who deal with a handful"... I explain I have no money down (but with the advertised 10,000x more than kelly blue book for your trade regardless of year, make, mileage, condition), I can only afford a very low monthly payment and my credit is BAD... I am assured that I could be helped... I take the 40 MINUTE drive to Easton with paystubs, drivers license, proof of residency and my trade in. Well I waited longer for the receptionist to help me than I did for Ron to tell me I could not be helped unless I could come up with a $1500 downpayment. I have had other car loans in the past (with my bad credit) and never have I been in and out of a dealership so fast. He figured out my monthly income, had me sign for a credit report and in a minute was back to tell me NO. ???? Didn't even consider my trade in (which I always thought was a downpayment) and although I know a 559 credit score is bad... Didn't think it was that HORRIBLE... Spent the 40 minute drive home thinking WHAT JUST HAPPENED???? Terrible experience in all. More
I don't think I have ever written a negative review before but I think this time is deserving. I searched on line one evening and was contacted to make an appointment. We made a 9:15 A.M. appointment k before but I think this time is deserving. I searched on line one evening and was contacted to make an appointment. We made a 9:15 A.M. appointment knowing I had to leave by 1:00. Thinking this would be enough time to look at few cars and check out my options. Outside of my salesman taking personal phone calls we did find a car that I was interested in.My assumption was he was more worried about getting his car off the streets of Allentown then selling me a car. Then came Mike. We discussed my options and what I wanted. He suggested upgrading my car and we could work out a deal. I made both Mike and Juan aware of my time frame. It was taking some time and I suggested going home and changing for work and coming back. Mike adamantly said the check writers are here now. The time went on, it was now 1:15 and I was told another half an hour. I told them I have to go. So I agreed to come back the next day but was told they will be closing early, only to find out they ended up staying open late after all. When I got home there was a follow up call on my answering machine to see how my appointment went. On my way to work I returned her phone call and told her I did not buy a car but was still interested. I asked her to find out if Mike was willing to honor the same deal when I came back. She checked with him and it would be honored. So we made another appointment under those conditions. I made a follow up phone before leaving work to see if everything was still fine. I was told everything was in my folder and ready to go. Mind you I am making all the follow up phone calls. When I got to the dealership I am told the car is sold. I told Juan this is just what I did not want to happen. So now I am back to Mike. He tells me it is my fault because of the way I left and did not make a deposit. Two things, the way I left was something I was telling them for over an hour and secondly neither Mike or Juan asked for a deposit. So Mike was generous enough to tell me I could have the same deal if I upgraded again. That is now two upgrades. If they would have just said the first time we can't work out a deal or when they knew I was coming back that they were honest and said the car wasn't there. Honesty and integrity? More
