This is my second time buying from Brown Daub Kia, and the overall experience has gotten even better than it was 5 years ago. I bought a low miles 2008 car from this dealership - one owner before me and great condition. A week after buying it, I was driving home from home when this horrible screeching noise started coming from the owner before me and great condition. A week after buying it, I was driving home from home when this horrible screeching noise started coming from the back wheel. Had AAA come and tow me to the dealership to get it fixed. The tow truck driver told me that Tom Ring's Brown Daub Kia is known for selling bad cars, he told me all the stories of the cars he towed back to this dealership. Anyways, the following day I call first thing in the morning to see how the car is looking. They said they have it all under control and it will be done in a few hours. About 6 hours later I call and the receptionist transfers me to service where there is no answer. I call again about an hour later, still no answer. Within the afternoon, I called FOUR times and never got an answer or a call regarding my car. So around 6:30 that night I call again and still no answer in the service dept. so I ask the receptionist if she can find someone to tell me if my car is done or not. She puts me on hold and a minute later, she returns and says that nobody is available to tell me if my car is fixed because they were all on the sales floor. I ask her very politely if she could please find someone to tell me because I didn't want to drive 45 mins down there and my car wouldn't be fixed. She told me that it would require her to get out of her chair to look for someone and she didn't want to do that. I couldn't believe it, isn't that part of her job? So she found someone, very rudely told me it was done and than hung up the phone. About 2 weeks later, the breaks started squealing and the oil change light came on. I was told that my brakes needed to be replaced because they were worn down. When I bought the car from BDK, they told me that the day before I bought it - the brakes were replaced and the oil was changed. Obviously they didn't do that if the brakes were already worn down after 4 weeks of owning the car and the oil light came on at 1500 miles...I liked the friendliness of the dealership when first coming in but after I bought a car from them, they didn't seem to care anymore. Maybe all dealerships are like that, I don't know, but I know I won't be telling anyone to go here to purchase a car. I'm definitely not coming back here to buy a car in the future. More
I am very pleased with the experience I endured while purchaseing my vehicl. Eddie Aviles did a wonderful job in keeping me the customer satisfied at all times. Had been shopping for a new Optima for a couple of months, best pricing was always far away. Having previously had a less than honest experience at BDK with service on my current KIA, I knew better t months, best pricing was always far away. Having previously had a less than honest experience at BDK with service on my current KIA, I knew better than to go there for purchase, but thought I would see what they could do. Receptionist explained that they meet or beat any deal. I went down and saw the disco so many mention here. Never got the chance to find out whether they could meet or beat. After several "Someone will be with you soon" attempts to keep me there, I realized I should have followed my first instinct and stayed away. I learned later from my old service guy (who wisely parted ways with them) that if they figure you know anything about how the car biz works, you are not really wanted there. They count on the masses getting caught up in the music and free cookies nonsense rather than pay attention to the deal. I notice the reviews here rarely mention the details of the deal, just how great it was to hang out and have the privilege of getting taken. For those who haven't figured it out yet: YOU ARE FINANCING those checks and $8,600 above KBB trade value deals. Tom Ring is a master at exploiting the uneducated and vulnerable. More
I had a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE with Scott and Eddie at Brown Daub Kia! Unlike other dealership that are pushy and quick to just make a sale. I explained to them that my last car that I had purchased from another local dealership was one of the worst experiences I have ever had, and made me feel like all dealerships are like this. However they totally changed my point of view. With their honesty, helpfulness and consideration, it made my experience very enjoyable and by trusting them, allowed me to trust buying a car from Brown Daub Kia. I walked out of there still with money in my pocket and a brand new car to drive away. GREAT EXPERIENCE EVER!!! More
I just want to commend this organization for the best experience I have ever had in buying a car... On January 31, 2012 I had a very bad experience with Gateway Kia of Quakertown. My son said to me, "I told you that you should have gone to Tom Ring's Brown Daub Kia". As we were leaving Gateway Kia my son called your organization to see if you had a Kia Sporatge 4 cylinder AWD, and he was told that there were a few on the lot. Upon my arrival, we were greeted by Chris Mink. He immediately started assisting me in my search for the car I was in search of. I explained that I just had a bad experience with the other Kia dealer and was looking for a Kia Sportage 4 cylinder AWD. He immediately began the process of taking me to the car I was in search of and test drive the car. He then began the paperwork in order to purchase the car. After my ordeal with Gateway Kia I was a little short fused and did not have time for nonsense. Chris was very understanding in my frustration, and I am so thankful, because he made my visit to your organization the most memorable one I have every experienced. I would like to extend this deep feeling of appreciation to know that there are car dealers, in this political world we live in, that do genuinely care about ensuring that their customers are fully satisfied. Thank you for having such a wonderful staff, especially Chris Mink. I will definitely refer anyone looking for a car to visit your organization. I was in the market for a new truck so I stopped into Brown Daub Kia. I was looking at a 2011 dodge ram Brian came out and greeted me he was very friendly showed me the vehicle . Before I knew it we wer Brown Daub Kia. I was looking at a 2011 dodge ram Brian came out and greeted me he was very friendly showed me the vehicle . Before I knew it we were talking for about 15 minutes no pressure answered all my questions about all the trucks we looked at. I wasn't sure if I was going to get approved because I owed much more then my old car was worth. Brown daub kia is awesome they got me a new truck traded my old car and kept my payments the same. It very differnt then the other car dealers that we have been to the past few days they cant seem to do enough for you. tonight i went to brown daub kia , in easton pa, i was quickly welcomed by a professional salesman named Mike Landry, i wanted to buy a 2007 bmw 328xi, i was nervous cause i have had been turned down by quickly welcomed by a professional salesman named Mike Landry, i wanted to buy a 2007 bmw 328xi, i was nervous cause i have had been turned down by other dealers, my credit is lets say not the best. he interviewed me and got me approved in 15 minutes of meeting him, it was truly awesome. Mike was so easy to work with and they cleaned the vehicle it almost looks new, Thank you mike you made my day, do your self a favor and go see mike , excellent customer service and professional process. best regards Jennifer More
