Tale of a sucker I purchased a 2001 Toyota Tacoma from this dealership. And within 2k miles the vehicle completely fell apart. The drive shaft is completely rusted in I purchased a 2001 Toyota Tacoma from this dealership. And within 2k miles the vehicle completely fell apart. The drive shaft is completely rusted in danger of breaking off. The transmition blew. The break cables snapped while in motion and I'm lucky to have not suffered a serious accident. I reached out to the dealership who informed me that I should have done a more thuro inspection before purchase. and they were right. I had a family crisis and had to buy the vehicle in a hurry. With my back against the wall I put my trust in this dealership, and now I've got nothing. They refused to even look at the vehicle and callously washed their hands of it. 18k spent on a truck that didn't even last to its first oil change. Without a vehicle I can't work, and the future looks bleak for my family. Im sure they will respond to this as they do to negative reviews explaining why they are not at fault., and how the vehicle had no problems at purchase. Their only concern is their own liability. But The rust damage and decay and subpar condition of this vehicle do not lie. For a truck to have 40k miles on it and have completely turned into a rusted pile of junk in 2k miles while parked in doors during one of the most mild winters on record as they claim is ridiculous, and instead of an honest purchase of a reliable vehicle from a respected dealership, I am on the bus shopping for attorneys. This has been the worst experience of my life, and my loved ones and I will be paying the price for putting our trust in phillipsburg Easton Hyundai for a long time to come. More
