Service department always addresses the customers concerns. For me, they have always gone above and beyond. I depend on them making the right call and recommendations. Since plyers, crescent wrench a concerns. For me, they have always gone above and beyond. I depend on them making the right call and recommendations. Since plyers, crescent wrench and wire are no longer a reliable option, it’s time to get Autonation service involved. Certainly not me! More

First Off I would like to say I always give 5 Stars for AutoNation Brooksville and Absolutely Love Every Service Advisor in the Building, Especially Delbert (Don) Schumaker who has helped me for the last 2 AutoNation Brooksville and Absolutely Love Every Service Advisor in the Building, Especially Delbert (Don) Schumaker who has helped me for the last 2 cars purchased at this Facility! These ratings are for them and them alone ….and Does NOT pertain in any way to the Service General Manager Bob Gray!! I Purchased A set of NEW Tires and had installed August 1 2022, picked up and paid $1200. A few days later I looked at the tires which were the same brand as when I bought the car originally, due to how well they held up. My car that I Love is a 2015 Ford Edge which will be 8 years old in March. It looks like a brand new car and has only 35,000 miles! So doing the Math is roughly 4500 miles per year. When I checked the tires I recalled the time I Sold cars for Braman Porsche Audi in Miami and there is a DOT LABEL WITH A NUMBER, mine was 2920 Which means by the first 2 numbers the tires were made in the week of July 13 -19 in the last 2 numbers the year 2020. So what my $1200 got me were 2 year old tires!!! ***FYI always look at the DOT # to know the date the tires were made. What happens is they place that date on the inside where you can’t see it. They made a mistake with me and forgot to turn one to the inside!!!**** At this point the only thing I could do was call my Service Advisor Don to let him know my finding. He was Upset and Apologized for my discovery and said he would immediately take and tell this issue to the Service Manager Bob Gray. Don advised Bob and I received NO Call from him. This went on and on calling and leaving messages for Bob Gray Service Manager. At this point it was out of my Service Advisor Don’s hands and in the hands of Bob. And so starts my nightmare with a Service Manager Bob Gray who didn’t care. I had given a long period of time and let Don know I had Spine Surgery mid September. I also sent pictures of DOT# and tires October 17, 2020 and explanation article about selling tires that are 1 year old how even thought no use from manufacture date tires eventually naturally break down sitting on a shelf. After I had recovered some what, from Spine Surgery I could get absolutely no call back from Bob. I decided it was time to take a visit to AutoNation with my Brace on my Back to see Bob Face to Face. I went in to Bob’s surprise mid October and told him in No Uncertain Terms this needed to be corrected, I had waited to long and I didn’t appreciate No contact with me in any way. I was very nice in my conversation, but was Certainly Direct and others saw this as well….After that Bob seemed to work a little bit better not wanting another visit from me because next step would be Ford Corporate Office. More time went on trying to find me tires, but this is getting long and in the end it was 2 days ago December 7th, 2022 my New BF Goodrich tires with a DOT# 2822..That’s Right July 11-17, 2022 are on my New Tires! In my final thoughts, I can’t explain but was told by Bob Gray, Service General Manager that the tires they receive they have NO control over what DOT comes on them. If that’s True, they knew it when they arrived before they put 2 year old tires on my car when they got them. That is when they should have notified me of the situation that they in fact were 2 years old. Had they not made a mistake with one tire and put the side of the tire that shows the DOT#, I would never have known, unless I took my car to a mechanic or person that has a car lift to look at them. There should be a LAW against this and it should be a Crime in my opinion!! How many elderly people or just unknowing people about the DOT# are there??? In my Opinion also is Bob Gray Service Department General Manager needs to be Trained in Courtesy and Caring to his Customers, or be Replaced, again…. In My Opinion! Last but not Least… The Service Advisors at AutoNation such as Don Schumaker and every other one at this Business could not be Kinder, Helpful, Knowledgeable and Considerate! Always Thank You to them, they should have a Leader with that same, if not more Quality!! Thank you for taking time to read this and Please be aware how to read DOT#’s! More
