Buying a USED car was a drug deal at this dealership. THIS PLACE IS TRASH. DO NOT GO HERE. STAY AS FAR AWAY If i could give 0 stars I would. "Not good" doesn't even begin to explain their level of service. I went in to see a car i had seen advertised online for 26K, the sales girl (Roleyda Melo) showed me the car and that was pretty much it, gave me no other information on it, certified or not- did not let me know any added fees also no info. We decided to move forward with the car because my husband had done extensive research on it. She then led us to the finance manager (nick name: BQ or RQ whatever) who brought us in ran our credit (700+) and let us know that we were not approved for a loan...? How is that if i already had an existing car loan. All the numbers he gives us did not work for us.. he then left the room for 1 hour to talk to his manager (right across from us where we could visibly see him chatting away over nothing nice customer service. Then the sales girl comes back in and offers us a different car. No i don't want another car we tell her. We agree to see it because she says its virtually the same at a less price, this is like 3 hours in now. We don't like the car. We agree to take the first car, it is now almost closing. BQ comes back to us and throws papers at us to sign and leaves. DOES NOT SAY A WORD. We think ok he's going to come back and give us more info.. nope. the sales girl hands us our contract which wasn't even signed by us! And they close. We notice a car that was advertised for 26K is now 30K. Added almost 8K in warranties we didn't even know what they included, what they were for... and charge a 1K prep fee right, to get the car ready for us, wait for it.... THE CAR HAS A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT RIGHT AFTER WE GET HOME and it needs an oil change. We go back in the next day trying to speak to someone, no shock are made to wait another 30 min until we stop a manager and she "can't help us because it wasn't her deal", she cant give us a bill of sale or warranty info because that gets "mailed to your house" OK LADY is it 1995.. I know you can email.. She then gets her GM, Jimmy Aleszckyk. Who comes over with more papers explaining the warranty and sale.. what do we learn from him.. they charge a 2K fee for certification and when we ask for the proof of certification... OP WE DON'T HAVE IT. Also a good time to note that all the paperwork he showed us on our sale.. were not signed how convenient. So we ask, FIX THIS JIMMY BOY... Jimmy, the GM, folks, can't touch the sale because it isn't his. WHAT BS. THIS WAS A TOTAL DRUG DEAL. Where no one touches anything because obv they're pocketing their own cash on the expense of people. They wouldn't cancel our contract but not to worry the Brooklyn DA will and the DCA will to. THIS PLACE IS TRASH. DO NOT GO HERE. STAY AS FAR AWAY More

I have been a Jeep owner and enthusiast for over 39 years. I have owned three Jeep Grand Cherokee Summits in the last 6 years and that is my preferred vehicle. Jeep has implemented many great ideas and years. I have owned three Jeep Grand Cherokee Summits in the last 6 years and that is my preferred vehicle. Jeep has implemented many great ideas and engineering feats and I believe that the Summit is the culmination of that effort. I am so happy that I finally found a vehicle that meets all my needs. I was recently seeking an off-lease CPO Summit and found one on Carfax that was priced at $35,999. The dealer is Brooklyn Jeep Dodge Ram in Brooklyn, New York. More than a stones throw from my hometown in CT but I committed to travel within 200 miles to purchase the exact vehicle that I wanted. Much to my surprise when I called Brooklyn Jeep Dodge Ram, I found out the CPO vehicle with the VIN#1C4RJFJGXJC218644 was priced at $40,999, however the sales price would be $35,999 which is a nice $5000 discount. Was there a catch? Sure was, I was told that I needed to keep the dealer financing in place for at least 6 months and if I tried to refinance the Jeep before that time, I would have to pay off ALL the loan interest. I really wanted that vehicle, so I visited the dealership on Sunday, April 18, 2021 to check out the condition of the Jeep. Here are the events that occurred: · I made an appointment for 5:00PM and the salesman was 20 minutes late after confirming twice that day. I was there until 6:20PM. · I wanted a Sales Agreement with the following contingencies (in New York, there is "no cooling off period" so it is up to the buyer to protect himself): o The contract must state that the vehicle is CPO. o There would be no advertising stickers on the vehicle. o The contract was subject to the buyer’s acceptance of the finance rate and Terms and Conditions (T&C’s). o The contract was subject to the buyer’s acceptance of the Sales Agreements T&C’s. o The contract was subject to the buyer’s acceptance of the vehicle condition upon pickup. · I was given a “Lease Agreement” …yes “Lease Agreement” with incomplete rough written contingencies. I was told that the dealer ‘ran out of Sales Contracts and we would have to use the Lease Agreement, but they had the same T&C’s”. There were no T&C’s on the Lease Agreement but the dealer gladly took my $500 deposit to proceed. · Eleven days later and 29 phone calls with 4 disconnects, I finally received the finance agreement with the T&C’s on it. Not bad considering I had to call the dealer 21 of those 29 times and speak to salesperson and then a finance manager who had no idea of how much I was putting down although that was stated on their Lease Agreement I signed. · As of today, no one at the dealership has any idea of what a Sales Agreement is because I am still waiting. The salesperson did not understand what Sales Agreement I wanted and he had to discuss this with his GSM. I had planned to execute all documentation before traveling by train to Brooklyn. Obviously, the dealer had different ideas. · It appeared to take an act of God to get someone to approve the Jeep for CPO status which increased the price although on the phone, I was told that it was already CPO. · I have constantly asked to have each of my dealer contacts have their GSM call me directly to discuss this issue of no Sales Agreement and Finance Agreement to no avail. Obviously, the GSM’s must be on salary and not commission. · I have requested a corrected copy of the Finance Agreement with the proper dollar amounts. I have not heard back as of today. Based on the investment that I have made in the Jeep product line over the years, I feel that someone should be asking some hard questions. For example: · Is this kind of dealership that Jeep and FCA can be proud of? · Is this what Jeep customer service is all about? · Is this pricing practice of offering a low price online and then requiring dealer financing to keep that price not a type of predatory pricing that maybe the other Jeep dealers in New York would want to know? Is this not a form of bait and switch? · If this was a new Jeep on a dealer’s lot, would it take over two weeks to close the deal and deliver it to the customer? · Can I really trust this dealer, with all this incompetent behavior, to provide me a vehicle that is safe and properly Certified? · Do I have names and dates? Yes, I do but don’t you think that the problem is that top management is responsible for this attitude and behavior (I am sure you know what flows downhill!)? How long is FCA going to let this continue? I have since cancelled the purchase in writing due to a lack of properly executed Sales Agreement. Here is the icing on the cake...Today, almost a month later, I received a letter stating that Brooklyn Dodge Jeep is refusing to offer me credit at this time! Sure they can't because they want me to get my own financing and pay $5000 more. My credit scores are at 821. 817, and 824 so they can't offer me financing? That's a bunch of bull turd !!! Good luck New Yorkers, I don't understand how you put up with this crap. More
