I'm planning to purchase a 2020 or 2021 Explorer. I confirmed the availability of a specific vehicle at Brondes Ford and relayed to the salesperson (Kraig Stearns) that I was only interested in an e I confirmed the availability of a specific vehicle at Brondes Ford and relayed to the salesperson (Kraig Stearns) that I was only interested in an extremely clean vehicle with only slight wear as would be normal for a lightly used vehicle with <30K miles. I asked him to verify this as I would be driving 3 hours each way to inspect and likely purchase the vehicle. Along with undisclosed body damage, the vehicle was VERY dirty (Food, mud, dog hair) on the interior and was badly worn on the center armrest and passenger door armrest. When confronted with the condition, this sarcastic sales person commented, "Well I can show you a new vehicle." This was one of many comments that he made that were not appropriate including the one he made about my comment that the engine compartment showed that vehicle had spent its life on a dirt road. He said, "This car's from Michigan and most roads in Michigan are dirt." Still looking... More
I have been to the dealership a couple of times now for an oil change, tire rotation, and a recall on my vehicle. Fortunately, I have been pleased with the service each time. Will not buy another car from them again. They sold my mother in law and me a 2010 ford escape, and missed the fact the tie rods were loose. My husband and I just spent over 1500 having to fix the car. The bolts were even loose on the control arms. Have the paperwork from Midas to back it up. Car was shaking when we took possession but when we called about it, was told nothing wrong with it. Load of crock! Our mechanic trying to figure out how they missed this!!!! Very disapointed in them. Was going to be buying a brand new car, with the ford z package, but will be going to west herr ford instead. More
