I did not go through with buying a vehicle at Bristol Auto Mall and am glad based on the lack of information and communication during my experience. Yesterday, I applied for the online finance applicati Auto Mall and am glad based on the lack of information and communication during my experience. Yesterday, I applied for the online finance application on their 2012 Toyota Highlander. Representative Rico followed up with me needing to provide paystubs which I did. I didn't hear anything for hours, so I called and emailed him to see what the status is. He said he would follow up with the finance team and get back to me in 15ish minutes. That's understandable. Now for the WORST part - representative Carlos. He texted me to provide paystubs to their finance email address. I said I already emailed Rico my paystubs earlier that morning. First red flag. Next, he wanted me to send my email address. I told him before I do that I want to see the vehicle history report of the 2012 Toyota Highlander. I saw on CarGurus that a salvage was reported on it. He said he'd get his manager to email me the needed information. That never happened. To put the final icing on the cake, Carlos asks me to provide my full address and social security number so he can get me approved. I told him with all due respect, I will not relinquish that kind of information via text as that was already done on the finance application. His response was that the application wasn't completed all the way through and that the full address wasn't showing. I knew from that point he was on his xx as I know I put that information in. No finance application would be complete without inputting your address and social. At that point, I said I'm good and will move on. It is nothing but shadiness with that dealership from the lack of communication between employers and employer to customer, not giving the customer the information needed to insure the vehicle of interest would be a safe purchase, and just the overall rudeness. I bet that Highlander would've had more issues than what I'm currently going through with my 2008 Infiniti QX56 SUV I'm trying to move on from. BUYER BEWARE!!! More

Very shady dealership. Borderline scammers. I would not recommend this dealership. They are only focused on the sale and not the condition of the vehicle being sold. Manip Borderline scammers. I would not recommend this dealership. They are only focused on the sale and not the condition of the vehicle being sold. Manipulative sales tactics and con artist structure style of business. They dont disclose the real and/or correct status of vehicles. Price of vehicle was $16,995 on internet and when I went into dealership price drastically increased with loan financing. They just wanted to sale a older model cargo van ,with almost $189,442mi. With financing and interest a 2013 came to just around $45,000.Nate stated don’t worry about that price after 6mo. Of ontime payments the loan will be able to get refinanced and get the terms lowered. As mentioned on top of that the vehicle had frame damage. Salesman Nate stated it only means that at the auction it has to be announced. I took a deep dive into frame damage and was I informed stay clear of vehicle with frame damage. The vehicle was supposed to be delivered within 2days of agreement.Prior to delivery I informed them I wanted to void contract, being that it was within the timeframe required by law as well as I never took possession of the vehicle. However, I was basically told deal is done. With a downpayment of $3500 and I was told I would have to pay another $1500 for tax and tags. I contacted the dealership with regards to returning my $3500 down payment and I am being avoided. I cannot reach or contact any of the salespeople who participated in this transaction. When I call now I’m directed straight to internet sales. I leave messages with the internet sales contact person. The person states they’ll get my message to them and have them contact me. Nobody has contacted me. I just want the return of my $3,500 or I will be taking legal action More
