Great Experience I had been searching for a new car for a while. I had been to many dealers and had not been happy. Called the dealership in the morning and Ed calle I had been searching for a new car for a while. I had been to many dealers and had not been happy. Excellent Service Purchased a new WRX from another dealer and was having alignment issues from the get-go. Went back to that dealer to get an alignment under warranty - Purchased a new WRX from another dealer and was having alignment issues from the get-go. Went back to that dealer to get an alignment under warranty -- only to notice the alignment was never really corrected properly 100 miles later. Decided to go to Brilliance Subaru for two reasons: 1) MUCH closer to home and 2) We purchased a Forester from them very recently and was impressed by not only the sales/financing staff, but also the punctuality & quality of work from the service team's pre-delivery inspection (couldn't say the same about the dealer I purchased the WRX from...). This gave me a good idea of the kind of work they do and made me more confident in Brilliance. Brought the vehicle in on an appointment for the alignment and had a pleasant, professional interaction with Adam Mennella - got checked in and was told it'd be an hour or so. Enjoyed a few cups of water, perused the vehicles on the lot, chatted with Phil Liang (who we purchased the Forester from), and was out of there in under 45 minutes! Alignment was now how it SHOULD'VE been in the beginning and I even got a print out of the pre- and post-alignment numbers (had to poke and prod at the other dealer to get a copy). Went off on my day with a quick turn-around time, complementary car wash, and even more confidence in Brilliance Subaru's service team. I will be returning to Brilliance for the foreseeable future for all my service needs! More

A Wonderful Place to Buy a Car In April 2015, I came into look at the Subaru Legacy and ended up buying it. I hadn't bought a car since 2003 so I was a bit nervous about purchasing In April 2015, I came into look at the Subaru Legacy and ended up buying it. I hadn't bought a car since 2003 so I was a bit nervous about purchasing a new car but they made everything easy. I purchased a new Subaru Legacy (6 cylinder) which is very hard to come by. So many of the dealerships only carry Legacy's that are 4 cylinder and I wanted a 6 cylinder. It just so happened that Brilliance Subaru had one on the floor. I live 45 minutes away from Brilliance but it was definitely worth coming out to Elgin for my car. This was the greatest experience I have had buying a car! They were so thorough and helpful describing and showing us the features of our car. Plus, we brought our dog with us and everyone was wonderful. Our dog played at the dog park adjacent to the dealership and when she came in they had water and treats for her. I have been in once for a recall and am making an appt today for a second recall. The service department is very clean and you get excellent service. Just recently I received a notice from Cook County saying that I owed the county for taxes because of my car purchase. Mind you this is a year later but I thought I had paid for the taxes for Cook County when I bought the car so I called the Finance Department and they confirmed that I had paid the taxes. They said I should send the letter to them and they would take care of it. Brilliance Subaru is a great dealership. I can't say enough about them. More
Exceptional service at Brillance Subaru I came in for a recall repair on my 2016 outback and received excellent service from the assistant service manager (Derek Thomas) and the technician w I came in for a recall repair on my 2016 outback and received excellent service from the assistant service manager (Derek Thomas) and the technician who worked on my car (Angelo G.). In addition tot he mandated repair I asked to have a noise in the transmission at low speeds checked out. Angelo took me for a ride in my car so that I could explain the noise which he determined was normal for the CVT transmission. He seemed very honest and straight forward so I accepted his assessment More
Great Car Buying Experience Bought a 2016 Outback and the whole process was over the top. I have purchased many new cars and this was, by far, my best experience. Dan Pagnotta, Joe Gunther and Jim DaLuga were a pleasure to deal with and in a matter of 15 minutes, we had a deal. The car came in a week early and when I picked it up, it was clean as a whistle. Delivery was spot on and I am enjoying what appears to be the best car I have ever driven. I also drove to Lafayette, IN. to tour the plant where the car was made. It was an extremely impressive facility. Oh. and thanks to Joe Gunther for helping me out with touch up paint. Thanks Dan, Joe and Jim. You did your dealership proud. More

I got an education on the car I was interested in and when we went out to try out the car, Ed showed us everything about the car. I felt comfortable with all the features and options on the vehicle. He explained what I needed to do to take care of the car and get needed future servicing. Ed explained everything and walked us through the sale and everything else we needed to know about the sale and then when we were ready to leave, he went through all the features before we left the dealership. He even introduced us to the the mechanics in the garage.. I want to thank Ed and Brilliance Subaru for a great sale and car! More
