A web search for the problem (incomplete download of smart phone contacts to the Hands Free Link Phone Book) found numerous similar problems with no resolution. A detailed complaint was forwarded to Hands Free Link support. Obviously there needs to be better communication between Honda Hands Free Link tech personnel and the Honda Dealership chain. I know better systems are available in other vehicles and this will influence my next vehicle acquisition decision. More

Service from Brilliance This repair shop is a good place to go. Let's face it, no one likes to hear that their car needs to be repaired. They are honest. I read some revie This repair shop is a good place to go. Let's face it, no one likes to hear that their car needs to be repaired. They are honest. I read some reviews and think there must be a misunderstanding. I believe in good maintenance on a vehicle. I have always had good service here. You do need to ask questions, in a non confrontational way and you do need to know a little of what your vehicle needs. You also know if you don't repair your car when needed other things may go wrong and ultimately cost more. They do what needs to be done and they are all very courteous to work with. I have been going to them since 2008. I know what poor repair shops are like and this is not one of them. More

We had over the years different brands beside Hondas and we still used their service because of their expertise, prices, free estimates, trustworthy work and rental capabilities. They always have treated us as part of a big family and their customer service is spotless. Ben and Rich and Jim and so many other good people at Brilliance Honda Service we are so happy to know that you are there and able to help with the maintenance of our cars over so many years! Their schedule is very convenient. They keep in touch with you and communicate of any findings and estimates which is time savvy. We once had a garage misshap. We called them and the next day they had a bodyshop appointment already arranged for us and all repairs went smoothly, car rental, everything was taken care off. Other time my Accord would not shift at all. Called them and they stayed with me on the phone and told me exactly what to do to enable the transmission and run the car and bring it in. And the list goes on! I would totally recommend this dealership and service department to all my good friends and relatives! Cars are one of the most pricey investments we make in our lives. It is so crucial to take good care of them, and be worry free when it comes to having any repairs done. What I say is: quality maintenance and repairs, good prices, mutual respect and trust at Brilliance Honda Service in Crystal Lake! And one more thing: extended warranty prices offered by this dealership were much better than other offers we had for same brand cars in the same the area. More
I brought my 2010 CR-V in for service at 30,000 miles and when I picked the car up there was a six inch crack in the middle of the windshield. Ben, the service manager, offered to pay $120 towards the repai when I picked the car up there was a six inch crack in the middle of the windshield. Ben, the service manager, offered to pay $120 towards the repair, only if I went through my insurance. He asked how much my deductible was and repeatedly laughed at me when I said it was $1,000. When Safe-Lite Glass inspected my windshield, the representative removed my left windshield wiper and demonstrated that the metal wiper arm fit perfectly into the point-of-impact where the crack started. The representative also commented that he has seen this exact thing happen five or six times when having wipers replaced. I am now out of pocket $400 for the windshield repair. My calls to the General Manager have gone unanswered. I am a student in graduate school and wife is pregnant, so $400 is no laughing matter for our family. More
I purchased a vehicle here with the assurance that the service department was exceptional. The repairs on my care were done were not done correctly and when I brought it up to their attention the service service department was exceptional. The repairs on my care were done were not done correctly and when I brought it up to their attention the service manager, he was quick to respond this is not due to our negligence. The car was in the service department on three separate days and this job should have taken an hour max. The service receipt the second day had a different price for the part that was replaced. I would run and run far away from this service department as they are not professional, not qualified, and do not take responsibility for their lack of quality work. I would have gotten better quality of service from the no name repair shop. More
The blower fan for our 2011 Pilot went out and we needed it repaired, it was after hours so I had called and spoke to Ben the service manager. He said to bring it in and we will take care of you. My wife brought the car in and they had it replaced within an hour! They have exceeded our expectations each and every time we have been there for service or repairs. On the sales side, they have treated us fairly and without all the car sales games other dealers like to play. That is why we have purchased three cars in the last four years and refers friends to them as well, thanks Eva and Jeff D.! More
