I am shocked to see the negative comments on this dealership. I heard that this dealership was not the best to go to but I wanted to try for myself. I have been in the car business for 19 years and k dealership. I heard that this dealership was not the best to go to but I wanted to try for myself. I have been in the car business for 19 years and know all the tricks to the trade. I went into this dealer to look at a 2008 Honda S2000 and began the negotiation pricing. I was treated with respect and courtesy and feel that I got a fair price. The sales experience was 1 of the best i have had and I have no complaints. The prepping of the vehicle and all the paperwork took longer than I would have liked but the dealership was very busy. ( this should tell you something). Needless to say about 3 weeks later a family member of mine comes to me asking what I thought of the Honda CRv. I told her the car is a nice car and I had a dealership if she was interested. I called and spoke to Warren and gave him the stock number of the vehicle. When we arrived the vehicle was ready for us to test drive with no waiting. We test drove the vehicle and had a price agreed upon within 30 minutes. Bottom line I purchased two vehicles from this dealership within the last three weeks. People need to understand when you go to a dealership that there are times when your not the only one waiting to go into the business office for the paperwork. This stuff takes time. Also remember the business manager makes his money off of accessories and extended warranties. If you want it buy it...if you dont tell him "NO". If he continues to pressure you open your mouth and simply say...."I told you no and if you ask again you will loose this deal" He will shut up 99.9 percent of the time. From reading some of these negative reviews I see some impatient people. My opinion and only a opinion.....if you go to a dealership to purchase a car and think it will only take 1 hour your nuts!!!!! Warren and Darryl thank you for everything. When we are ready for replacement Honda's we will be back!!! More
My original review has disappeared! Very strange. I gave an accurate review of this dealer and had used a poorly chosen descriptive word for the manager but later corrected it when asked to do so by dealerr an accurate review of this dealer and had used a poorly chosen descriptive word for the manager but later corrected it when asked to do so by dealerrater. This dealer is very untrustworthy. I had negotiated a firm price on a new Honda via email and telephone with the sales staff. Upon arrival they mandated that we pay $400 for the "protection package" which was splash guards, wheel lock, and a cargo mat. We said we did not agree on that and they could either honor their negotiated price (which we had evidence of) or remove the parts. Then the manager got involved and said "do you want the car or not?". We said yes, for the price we all agreed on. He said "whatever, see ya" and stormed off. Not the way to conduct business. Very much a bait-and-switch tactic. $400 by itself is not a lot of money but the principle of doing this is dishonest. How many just go ahead and pay this? LOTS of other dealers out there. We worked with several others who were very honest and upfront about these charges and did not wait until you arrived in the showroom to start adding them on. AVOID. More
I came in for another new car, my 2nd Accord. Mr. Warren Choe was still working there. It was so nice to see him. He remembered me and greeted me by name. I was shocked he remembered me so well. It was Choe was still working there. It was so nice to see him. He remembered me and greeted me by name. I was shocked he remembered me so well. It was 2 years ago that I was in. It felt so family like there. People were kind and helpful. I wanted more information on the Cash for Clunkers program and Warren took time out to explain more to me even though I wasn't able to bring my mom in with her Clunker. I took home my new accord and will be back with my Mom. Thanks Warren. I will be Back to Brilliance Honda again! I am so glad you are still there. Thank you for remembering me and making me feel so welcome and part of your family there at Brilliance. I look forward to seeing you again soon. More
I would seriously caution people against buying a car with Brilliance Honda. Last night I went there with my car title (trade-in) and check in hand to buy a new 2009 Honda Odyssey Touring Package. We h with Brilliance Honda. Last night I went there with my car title (trade-in) and check in hand to buy a new 2009 Honda Odyssey Touring Package. We had already agreed upon a price on the internet and established a 6:30 pm meeting with our sales rep to test drive the car and sign the paperwork. We were told the car would be ready upon our arrival, the car was absolutely filthy, had over 320 miles on it and had multiple scratches in the paint job. When we showed up to Brilliance Honda, our sales rep (Evan) was anything but professional. He did not remember establishing a meeting time with us and paperwork was not ready. After we test drove the car, we asked for Evan to show us some of the electronic features of the car. Evans response was, "we do not sell a lot of these cars, so I am not really sure how to operate it". After failing to figure out how to operate the programmable memory seats, he told us he was going inside to find someone to show the feature. Twenty minutes later I go inside the dealership to find Evan sitting down helping another customer. Therefore, I asked the manager, Craig, if they could send someone else out to assist me as Evan was busy. I was told someone would assist me immediately. Another 20 minutes go by and still no one has come to show us any features so I go back into the dealership and after waiting 10 more minutes, a new rep finally assists us with showing us this feature. We then tell the new rep to send the car to get cleaned and we were ready to sign the paperwork. Our regular sales rep then comes outside and tells us he is leaving to go to the gas station and will be back in 5 minutes. He does not return for another half hour. By this time its 8:30 at night and we have not even begun the paperwork and the car is not ready. I tell Evan that we need to get moving on the paperwork immediately as its getting late and his response was, "I am trying to help out 5 different people right now, what do you want me to do man?" Let me remind you that I had an appointment with Evan at 6:30pm. I told Evan we were walking out of the dealership and I wanted to talk with his mgr before we left. Evan takes me up to his manager and explains that I am upset and leaving the dealership now because he was been helping multiple customers and could not assist me after 2 hrs. Rather than trying to diffuse the situation, the sales mgr throws gasoline on it by saying, "what do you want me to say sir, we have been busy tonight". Needless to say, we walked, with our check. This could have been the easiest close of the evening for them as we had already agreed on a price over the internet. The sales rep was young, not properly trained and lacked customer service skills. The manager was rude, arrogant, and non- responsive. I would not buy from this dealership and would caution buyers to shop elsewhere. More
Really great experience. Salesman Ryan Hansen gave me a great deal on my new Honda Accord ex-l. Came back to the dealer a week later and bought a used civic that comes with 100,000 mile warranty included i great deal on my new Honda Accord ex-l. Came back to the dealer a week later and bought a used civic that comes with 100,000 mile warranty included in the price upfront, for my daughter. I recommend Brilliance Honda and Ryan Hansen. More
I purchased a Honda without any financing in the fall of 2008. What was supposed to be a simple transaction turned out to be a very lengthy process. Justin was more than pushy regarding the add on warranty 2008. What was supposed to be a simple transaction turned out to be a very lengthy process. Justin was more than pushy regarding the add on warranty coverage that was in excess of $1000. (The product they sell is not even the Honda product.) Obviously, this is where they make their money and he was not going to take no for an answer. He would try to sell me it, I would decline, we would cover another part of the transaction, and then he would try again. I heard it all. "Someone was just in here yesterday and their repair would have been $5000 if not for their coverage. My girlfriend's invoice for her repairs is right here." Obviously bogus. When all else failed he started cutting the price big time. I feel sorry for anyone that purchases his product as Honda Care can be purchased over the internet for a good price if one so desires this coverage. I would not deal with them again. More
Very dishonest dealer. Upon agreeing on a price of a new car and the trade-in value I placed a deposit. When picking up the car, the dealer added accessories to mark up the price of the car and attempted to car and the trade-in value I placed a deposit. When picking up the car, the dealer added accessories to mark up the price of the car and attempted to revise the trade-in value that was agreed upon. The manager, Jeff Deters, should be sent to a training course on courtesy to customers. Incredibly rude, pushy and dishonest. Raising your voice at a client buying a car is not considered acceptable behavior. I am sure he does it because it has worked for him in the past, but not with me. Even putting this aside, the dealership was simply dishonest. Of course they are also refusing to return my deposit, which they should since they are responsible for stepping away from what was agreed upon, but they will have to fight this out with my credit card company. Please do yourself a favor and do not deal with this dealer, they will promise you a lot, and deliver none of it. They know you want a car, and they will use it to their advantage. As soon as you place a deposit, they will start changing what they agreed to in order to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Don't get me wrong, some salesmen working there are regular good people, but the manager that runs the show is definitely not. More
We had a terrible experience with the dealership - - Warren Choe in particular. He was absolutely rude and ignorant. He was yelling at me and my husband. We were ready to sign the papers, and were in Warren Choe in particular. He was absolutely rude and ignorant. He was yelling at me and my husband. We were ready to sign the papers, and were in the process of writing the check when Mr. Choe started yelling again because we questioned the fact that even though we had already shook hands and had a deal, the deal was in fact changing once again, and they would not honor the promies the saleswoman made during the test drive and negotiation process. I have never been treated this way by a merchant before, and honestly, I was shocked that he would do this to a customer. If you want a good car dealer who is fair and offers reasonable prices, go to Sullivan Pontiac and ask for Mike Fink. Much better all the way around. Don't waste your time with Brilliance Honda. They are unethical, unreliable, and just downright nasty. More
My experience with the dealership was great. I found a vehicle online and went to go take a look and Mr. Ford was very helpful and willing to help. I am only 19 and I am used to salesmen treating me like vehicle online and went to go take a look and Mr. Ford was very helpful and willing to help. I am only 19 and I am used to salesmen treating me like a 6 year old that is not serious about buying. I was not pushed into the sale or anything. The price was incredible and I love the vehicle. It was a used car and as i was pulling away after signing the paperwork, the check engine light came on. They had me pull the car into the repair bay and checked it for me. They took care of the repair for me and were extremely helpful with everything. Legally they could have sent me away with the light on but they were happy to go above and beyond and do the right thing. More
